The Weather Channels Weather Wall

The Weather Channel offers viewers the opportunity to partake in a live event called the Weather Wall. Participants will be given the chance to tape their own reporting segment and then share their video with family and friends. This unique experience will link local affiliates and national advertisers back to The Weather Channel as well as deepen the connection between the network and its audience.

Event Run of Show

Staff are required to arrive in khaki pants and a plain white t-shirt. Weather Channel polo's will be provided on site (staff sizes will need to be provided at least 48 hours prior to event) Weather Wall event staff should arrive onsite at 3:45pm for setup Upon arriving at the event (indoor or outdoor), parents/kids will be greeted by Weather wall event staff Parents/kids will be encouraged to enter the Weather Wall footprint and create their very own Weather Wall segment. Guests will register with a Weather Wall event staffer while they are in line and that will be communicated with the on-site video editor. They will be educated on the delivery method of their segment via email and staffers will inform them that they will receive the video within 24 hours of the event. In line, guests will be able to view past Weather Wall segments on the custom iPad kiosk that will loop the video throughout the event. When guests enter the green screen area they will be able to choose different props for their segment and they will be equipped with a microphone by the camera operator. Their segment will then be recorded and they will be led out of the green screen area.

Set-up: Entry into the arena: Go to the employee entrance on the east side of the arena near the Courtyard by Marriott. Proceed to the credentials table. When entering into the arena, go left to section 115 and look for the Cox Thunder booth. Arrival and set-up: 4:00pm CST on Thursday, 4/3 Gates open: 5:30pm CST Game starts: 6pm CST
