Writing

Students have begun retelling their
Greek myths to other classes this will
continue this week. Last week we practiced
outside for volume and expression. Our big
focus this week will be to complete our

details, and more details before having
them typed at home. All illustrations are
due on Monday so we can continue with our
partner class in Ogden, UT!

Math
Unit 10 symmetry, reflection, and
more multiplication of fractions. This past
week the children used reflection mirrors
to make mirror images of pictures. We will
continue with symmetry, multiplying
fractions and open responses.
FAMILY LETTERS can be found on-line

please let me know.

Social Studies
Last week we learned more about
farming and manufacturing in the Midwest
Region. We even made our own specialty
one-of-a-kind cars
and Model Ts on an
assembly line! Some
shifts were more
successful then
others making
quality, job One! This week, we will
continue to practice states/capitals/Postal
Codes and begin regional projects.

Science - from the desk of Mrs. Liporto
This week we will begin the
electricity portion of the unit. The
students will learn about basic electrical
circuits and will make a flashlight bulb
