Electroless NickeI-PTFE Composite Coating Atotech USA Inc. Rock Hill, S.C.
Niflor is a protective coating for metal and metal alloys, with submicron-size PTFE particles built into autocatalytically deposited nickel phosphorus. Its surface has excellent dry sliding properties and a low friction coefficient, k is uniform, extremely hard, and wear resistant. Nitlor is a genuine dispersion coating, with an even distribution of the BIFE in the nickel-phosphorus ma~ix. Wear of the surface exposes new PTFE particles, thus maintaining the lubricating properties during the entire lifetime.

Electroless Nickel Processes for Disks and Circuit Boards Uyemura /ntemationa/ Corp. Ontario, Calif.
Uyemura International Corp. (UIC) offers several high-quality electroless nickel systems. Nimuden HDX is a process developed for electroless nickel plating on high-density computer hard disk substrates. UIC also offers the Nimuden SX process for general metal finishing and plating of printed circuit boards for surface mount applications, Nimuden NPR-4 is recommended when fine line circuitry is produced (less than 3 mils lines and spaces). Special additives in the Nimuden NPR-4 effectively eliminate bridging problems that may be encountered with other systems.
