Philosophy in Practice
The consistent efforts of voluntary organization to empower and serve disadvantaged communities are worthy of respect and in line with our belief that leaders and entrepreneurs at the bottom of the pyramid must be trained and polished to perfection with need-based and skill-based trainings and capacity building. At a time riddled by the economic slowdown, when leading economies of the world are bearing the brunt of a top-heavy development, the bottom of the pyramid has suddenly shot into the limelight. At KGVK, we have always held the belief that the bottom of the pyramid can be the answer to a sustainable bottom line- for nations as well as societies. Disadvantaged communities at the bottom of the pyramid need to be trained and polished to perfection as leaders and entrepreneurs - through Kaizen model of continuous improvement programme in need based and skill based trainings.

KGVKs way:
Putting our holistic eight pillared theory of Total Village Management into practice by establishing the TVM Gurukul in 2006, a grass root knowledge management hub at Rukka, Ranchi. The first thing that strikes the visitors to the Gurukul premises is the size and scale of the knowledge hub, the second being, how hightech investment in infrastructure can uplift grassroots trainings with a new purpose. It gives us immense pleasure to inform that these training infrastructure and facilities at TVM Gurukul are open to Government Departments and other Institutions, Corporate Houses, International donor agencies, Non Profit Organizations (NGOs) etc for their training programmes at a very nominal cost.

Demonstration site
Since seeing is believing, the following facilities available with us can be used effectively during the training sessions: Agriculture: best practices - protected cultivation in 5 polyhouses each of 128 sq ft, drip irrigation system and sprinklers, vermin compost and farmyard manure units, horticulture including aromatic herbs. Oil extraction & distillation plant Dairy: 80 cows of different breeds Soil testing laboratory
