Main St. Chicago, IL 60625 Re: Claim for Vehicle Collision Between Rosie Green and Iam Speedy Dear Mr. Simpson: We represent Ms. Rosie Green in her claim arising out of an accident on January 2, 2011 at the corner of Fawell Boulevard and Scholars Drive. Our investigation reveals that your client Mr. Iam Speedy was driving the vehicle that collided with our clients rig. Evidence indicates that on the morning of the day of the accident, our client was heading east on Fawell Blvd, while Mr. Speedy in his ambulance was rushing west down the same street. Mr. Speedy turned south onto Scholars Drive; however, he was negligent in not operating his turn signal, so our client had no indication that he was making a turn. Therefore, Mr. Speedys ambulance collided into our client who was also turning south onto Scholars Drive. As a result of this collision, our client has suffered the following damages: (1) $10,000 dollars in medical bills; (2) $15,000 in hospital bills; (3) $5,000 in rehabilitation costs; (4) $3,600 in lost wages; (5) $1,000 in loss of transportation; and (6) $500 in ambulance fees. Additionally as a result of the injuries sustained in this collision, she currently suffers and will continue to suffer in the foreseeable future from physical pain and psychological depression. In order to avoid unnecessary uncertainty and delay of litigation, our client would be interested in an amicable resolution of her case. She would be willing to settle for $105,000 in exchange for a prompt release of all claims. As she continues to undergo treatment and suffering due to your clients negligence she would be willing to allow this demand to remain open until October 21, 2013.
