Senior Director of PMO for R&D 2011 to 2014 Collaborated with the six VPs of R&D across Sage North America to gain alignment on the seven key initiatives and track and report progress for eight products to Sage Senior Leadership. Delivered all of these meeting the KPIs set for the initiatives. Met with cross product R&D personnel so that they understood the project KPIs and risk/mitigation processes. Most notable experiences included a project to provide solutions in the cloud using Microsoft Azure and access through both cloud and mobile services. This included selection of new tools and processes taking advantage of Lean Startup techniques. This project had a direct impact on the 2013 revenue goals allowing for the distribution of the annual incentive bonus at over 100%. Senior Director of Product Development 2008 to 2011 Released enhancements for the Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) product line. Developed internal processes to commit to and meet the objective to deliver these enhancements on a quarterly basis. In this role, responsibilities included all aspects of development as well as project management for internal and contract resources. The scope of these projects ranged from the implementation of feature level rd enhancements and new ERP modules to the introduction of integrated 3 party products. Led the continuous improvement efforts within R&D based on the introduction of new product development methodologies including the move to agile development and SCRUM. Negotiated the contract for and managed the releases associated with changes required for a PA-DSS audit for both the MAS 90 and MAS 500 products. The Sage 100 product line continues to be the major revenue source for the North America based Sage products. Senior Director of Application Operations 2006 to 2008 Established standard SLA and metrics to measure Engineer and Support organizations for all MidMarket software products. These contributed to across the board improvements in customer satisfaction. Managed issues that came to C level executives, including coordination and communication of time to resolution. Director of Product Development 2001 to 2006 Led projects for multiple releases of the MAS 90/200 product including cross-functional team communication to facilitate successful time to market. Directed Product Development efforts for both the MAS 90/200 and BusinessWorks products. Director of Quality Assurance 1996 to 2001 Coordinated the first Sage QA summit bringing together all QA leadership across Sage North America. Established and monitored adherence to standards for QA processes across all Sage North America R&D organizations. Represented the MAS 90 product in the Y2K initiative, to attest to compliance of the software for up-coming Y2K impact. Manager of Advanced Products Development, 1989 to 1991 Created a new department within the Development Division dedicated to the creation of the Impacct product line. Impacct defined a new category of PC-based business software in terms of the specific application features provided by each module as well as the level and extent of system-wide capabilities and flexibility. Impacct was released in June 1990 and the product design has been used as a basis for the current SOLOMON product.
