ABSTRACT
This thesis entitled " MSS to improve the skills of teachers of mathematics in the College
World Private - Huancayo " focuses on investigating the behavior of the systems involved in
the process of teaching and learning in order to improve the skills of teachers in
mathematics, given the poor performance of students in mathematics and poor teaching
transmitted by different socio-cultural reasons that come to be problematic factors as:
inadequate objectives and the negative attitude of teachers and students face methods to the
subject .
Thus there is the need to use Soft Systems Methodology due to its thorough analysis in the
collection and manipulation of information in a subjective manner , starting with the
unstructured and structured situation where most relevant information is sought to the
problem to addressing them, the same conceptual model identified the relevant systems and
then find desirable and feasible changes that will help somehow give a possible solution to
the fundamental problem is defined.
Then the elements interacting in the problem of teaching are not limited to the content and
form of teaching, but also include the interrelationships between the different subsystems
such social process, the main actors are the students and teachers whose actions can not
favor or process . Teacher involvement is marked by personal factors and the interaction and
driving does the teacher in the process , so in the system of activities , students in their
integral formation can be seen as a middle-end .
The same could be obtained that the teaching and learning process not only involves the
development of student skills , but also encourages , enriches and feeds the skills of
teachers.
