The Logo Book of Hangers

This book includes six different logos made for six different companies. Each logo needed to include the object that was chosen at the begining of the semester for my Graphic Design I class. My object is a clothes hanger, and it had to be incorporated into the logo in some way. It didnt have to look like the exact object itself, but could be shown by other forms using designs. These logos were made on Adobe Illustrator. The six companies include: a Professional Athletic Team, Fast Food, Music Label, Law Firm, Local Organic Grocer, and Global Oil Company.

The Hangers Professional Athletic Team

The Hangers
The Hangers are a hockey team at the local community college. Their goal is to win and show their school pride in the Northern states. The logo is shown in the form of a hanger while the simplistic components of the hockey stick and puck help form the hanger. The colors used were chosen from the school colors of WVWC. The slogan, Hang around for The Hangers Hockey team is to attract the college students and surrounding community.

Hanger Hut Fast Food

The Hanger Hut is a fast food pizza place that is family oriented and focuses on quick service by drive through and indoor dining. The logo is made to show the type of food UT ER H service, considering pizza isnt in HANG the company name. The two colors used are to show the common recognizable colors in real pizza, coming from the cheese and pepperoni. The hanger is shown by the use of pepperoni. The slogan, C=6 M=11 Y=68 K=0 Spice up your hang outs at the hut is to draw the attention of costumers with a cool sounds hang out while C=0 M=100 Y=100 K=0 adding spice, related to the pizza.

Hanger & Hook Records is a record company that focuses on jazz music and jazz artists. The logo was made to be classy and cool, connecting to jazz. Blue is a cool color, and the tan color is to balance the logo out. The slogan, Hang on and get hooked to Jazz is to draw attention to audience in an exciting manner as if waiting for something grand, which is the music.

Associates

Hanger & Rod Associates work in the area of divorces provided to the local community. They provide service to all and are located down town near the court house. The logo is made to represent the hanger from the & symbol, the Associates arch design, and the word Associates. It is made to be simplistic yet professional, as its for a professional setting. The blue colors are used as calming because bright C=85 M=50 Y=0 K=0 colors wouldnt represent well for divorces. The slogan, Hang on, weve got your back is used to C=100 M=100 Y=25 K=25 reassure their clients.

Hanger Foods is a small family owned food market that attracts local citizens with fresh organic goods. The hanger is incorporated by the idea of a healthy apple and a hanging basket. The colors used are the typical red apple look with black. The slogan, Hang on to organic foods for a healthy heart is to leave a positive effect on viewers.

The Hanger Oil Company is located in Canada to service Canadians with oil. Its goal is to provide as much oil as possible at low costs. The logo is used to show the hook of the hanger as the nosil to pour the oil. The color green is used to represent the environment and black for the color of oil. The slogan,We provide you with the best oily hanger is catchy to attract all citizens.
