Slip Resistance It is conrmed by the HSE that slips, trips and falls are the most common cause of major injuries at work and 95% of major slips result in broken bones. The cost to employers in the UK is 512 million per year... The human cost is incalculable.

3 KEY FACTORS that affect slip resistance in footwear are:

1. Sole Compound: We use special blends of Rubber which give extraordinary levels of grip. 2. Tread Pattern: Our soles are designed with maximum oor contact with lots of sharp proles to cut through contaminant with plenty of channels to disperse liquid. 3. Ladder Grip: We utilise a dened heel buttress and ladder grips to improve safety when working on ladders or steps.

As well as exceeding all the requirements of EN ISO 20345 we independently test our footwear on surfaces that you commonly encounter such as Kennedy Grating and Scaffold board in line with HSE recommendations Procuring slip-resistant footwear for work.

Our technical outsoles are the result of extensive research and development with a highly respected British laboratory and have been cleverly designed to provide the greatest slip resistance on the widest range of surfaces possible. V-Tech soles are designed to help reduce slip incidents in the workplace.
