Genetic mutations can have power over messing up our body's everyday operations in women, men, and also

children. Therefore, there are di!erent kinds of mutations that people can get, two things that cause most of them; also these genetic mutations can be inherited from parents and some may be bad, but some are benecial." In this world, there are di!erent kinds of genetic mutations. Missense, Nonsense, and Frameshift are some of the mutations (Unknown, 2014). Missense is a mutation that substitutes one amino acid for another in the protein made by a gene (Unknown, 2014). Nonsense signals cells to stop building a protein, instead of substituting one amino acid (Unknown, 2014). Frameshift occurs when addition or loss of DNA bases, changes the genes reading frame; also it shifts the grouping of these bases and changes the code for amino acids (Unknown, 2014). This will be so helpful for people to understand what mutations do inside of the body. However, mutations have things that cause them to form in people's bodies. " There are two major causes to mutations, cell replication and environmental factors. Errors sometimes occur during the cell replication. About 1 out of every 100,000,000 times, a mistake occurs during copying, which can lead to a mutation (Sprouse, 2010). Tobacco, ultraviolet light and other chemicals are the environmental factors that could lead to mutations; the factors have the ability to damage the chemicals making up DNA. This becomes a big deal when our DNA starts replicating itself because those chemicals don't behave correctly (Sprouse, 2010). This will teach people to not do or be by those things and keep themselves healthy; but for the cell replication, people just need to be careful. Although genetic mutations can be made during life, it can also be inherited from parents and it can be harmful or non threatening. " Genes can be inherited by your parents, just like genetic mutations can too; also some mutations can be very bad and harmful or some can be benecial. The mutations that are inherited from parents are called germline mutations; to get the inherited mutations, the child must have two copies of the mutated gene because the inherited mutations are recessive (Unknown, 2013). Little amount of mutations are bad for you, but some mutations can be benecial. Over some time, genetic mutations create genetic diversity, which keeps populations healthy. Many mutations have no e!ect at all. These are called silent mutations. Also every one of us has between 5 and 10 potentially deadly mutations in our genes, and the

good part about it is that because there's usually only one copy of the bad gene, these diseases don't manifest. A faulty, damaged, or missing p53 gene is to blame. The p53 gene makes a protein that stops mutated cells from dividing. Without this protein, cells divide unchecked and become tumors. (Unknown, 2013). Can learn more about hoe people can get the mutations and how bad they can really be. " Children, women, and men all get genetic mutations during their life time or even during your process of being born; those mutations have the power to mess up or ruin our body's everyday operations. You see people with so many di!erent kinds of genetic mutations and some may be saying to themselves. What caused them to have that certain type of mutation? Two things can cause them and the mutations that are formed can be bad or non threatening. Will scientist nd more genetic mutations and more causes to them in the future?
