for 100% attendance. Please attend worship at 10am and Sunday School at 9am.

[Christ] is the image of the invisible God…In Him all things hold together. He is the head of the
body, the church.

Jeffry’s thoughts: Sometimes it seems that we take the church for granted. We forget
what it is intended to do and to be. We seem to create programs and have expectations to
serve us and our needs. If a church doesn’t place Christ first and seek to be his
representatives here on Earth, we will never be what God has intended us to be. Think on
and pray for your role at church. Think on and pray on what Flowing Grace is intended to
be. How might we place Christ first in our personal lives and as the head of the church?
What is Christ truly calling us to be? Are we listening?

Theme for the upcoming week in worship:


New Consecration Sunday. Don’t forget to attend and be ready to hand in your pledge
cards. It is a very important day to have EVERYONE come. If you did not sign up for
the luncheon, there will be a few extra openings. Hope you all will come.

SPECIAL Tennis Class during the Christian Education Hour for kids!

Christian Education information:


Adult education will still take place at 9:00.

THANK YOU Jennifer for a wonderful class on miracles.

The Terminis will resume their class on QUESTIONS of LIFE.

Bic Bakkum will be leading a special training for small group leaders. All
are invited to come and learn how to be a better small group leader.

Children and youth will have class at 9:00:

We are having Pierce Tennis come and teach us this week. Bring a raquet if
you have one. This is going to be a GREAT class.

Special news for the week:

Don’t forget to attend the special Stewardship Luncheon following


worship. 12:30 at the Lincoln Inn on Hwy 31.

Our worth in God.

November 29 Advent Begins. We will be DOING SOMETHING each week during


Advent.

Prayer concerns for the week: if you have a prayer concern, forward it to me and
I will try to get it in next week’s e-FG.
Cathy Bross’ mother who is recovering from knee surgery and doing well.

Marta Swanson-Maschman’s cousin. Her five-year old grandson is diagnosed with


cystic fibrosis and currently has pneumonia (a BAD combination). The life situation of her
cousin and family has been very difficult and

this is one more very difficult situation for them.

The men, women and children of Wayside Cross.
