THE EUROPEAN FESTIVAL OF DANCE AND PERFORMING ARTS 2008

at Disneyland® Resort Paris

We have just launched the European Festival of Dance and Performing Arts, this is a unique dance and
performing arts festival which we are staging in the Disney® Village marquee at Disneyland® Resort
Paris between to 10th and 13th October this year.

WHY WE ARE SENDING YOU THIS EMAIL

As this is a totally new event, we are sending a series of only three emails to introduce the festival to
businesses, schools, colleges and organisations like yourselves who may be interested in taking part or
becoming involved.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The European Festival of Dance and Performing Arts 2008 is a new and unique festival based around two
Challenge Events.

 A Dance Festival
Open to 8 - 18 year old, Solo, Duet, Trio Novice dancers in the Ballet, Modern and Cabaret
disciplines and now due to popular demand we have now added an Open Solo Section for the
Ballet and Modern disciplines.

 A Performing Arts Festival

Open to 8 – 18 year old, Junior / Intermediate / Senior groups of amateur performing arts pupils
(min 10 - max 25 pupils per group)

Entries are now invited strictly from Teachers and Principals to nominate children to represent their
school in this first ever event.

OUR GOALS

The European Festival of Dance and Performing Arts goal is to provide Amateur dancers of both Novice
and Open Standard, from all over the UK.

 An exciting, stimulating and encouraging platform for 8 - 18 year old dance and performing arts
pupils

 Where the emphasis is primarily on 'taking part'

 Aiming to bring out the best in each individual competitor

 Affording them the experience of performing within a fabulous showbiz atmosphere under the
spotlights on a Disneyland stage

ALL OF THIS!

Plus a unique opportunity for everyone to spend quality time on a family orientated holiday within
Disneyland Resort Paris.

THE VENUE

The European Festival of Dance and Performing Arts 2008 is to be staged in The Disney Village Marque,
this is a purpose built venue situated in the heart of Disney Village.

Which will be transformed, with a touch of ‘Disney magic’, into a spectacular show theatre for this our
inaugural event.

Entry into either Festival is secured by payment of the required

 Registration Fee of £25 per entrant plus

 Holiday Package deposit of child (3-11 years) £50 and Adult (12years and over) £75.
