Prior to welding verify welder personnel qualifications Prior to welding verify joint geometry and fit-up are as per WPS. Prior to and during welding, verify the specified welding consumables(s) used are correct. During welding monitor in-process weld inspections After welding conduct final 100% visual inspection of welded joints After Welding confirm any required repairs and NDE for surface defects identified. Consult with Client and select joints for specific NDE Monitoring and inspect all work performed by welders and/or welding operators and update performance tackers. Inspect and evaluate all welds according to specified inspection procedures, standards, codes, and drawings.
