Guest Speaker Councilman Anthony Ebony Davis

Councilman Davis came to speak to the students of Napier Academy. The topics he discussed with the students were goal setting, pride in themselves, pride in their community, bullying, test taking, and respect for teachers, adults, parents, and themselves. The students enjoyed interacting with the councilman and received positive messages from the community native. They were able to hear positive things from another perspective. We would like to take the time out to thank Councilman Davis for coming to speak to the students of Napier Academy.

2nd Marking Period Awards Ceremony

The student achievement awards ceremony was for earning a place on the Principals, Honor Roll, Citizenship, and Perfect Attendance lists. The students received a breakfast and a certificate for their hard work and dedication. Parents were welcome to attend the breakfast and ceremony.

The Principals Message There are so many good things occurring at The Napier Academy that we just cant keep the news to ourselves. Theres a hip-hop song titled Dont Believe the Hype, that fits appropriately here because despite our challenges we are indeed moving forward and experiencing some great achievements. I constantly remind the staff, parents, and students that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard what The Napier Academy shall be. I am proud to say that we are moving toward our shallness; however, it must be a team effort between the home and the school. Everyone plays a role in the success of our children and our children must know that we are all on the same team. With that said, enjoy our newsletter and congratulations to our students and their families. Mr. Medley
