While employed at Moskowitz Jacobs Inc. I planned and implemented many upgrades to the company network. Operating system migrations, server/desktop upgrades as well as firewall and switch replacements. I upgraded the main file server as well as Exchange to new hardware and Windows server 2008. Exchange was migrated from version 2003 to 2010. Over the years I upgraded the companys firewalls using Sonicwall equipment including creation of access rules, permanent and temporary VPN connections for corporate employees and Intrusion Detection/Gateway anti-virus services. The company was utilizing an NSA 240 and NSA250m when it closed. I built two networks for the company. First was an internal corporate network which was migrated over the years to new operating systems and server hardware ending with Windows server 2003. Second was our web services network which was built from the ground up to support the companys web applications and client tools. At several times we needed to upgrade or switch our ISP. I was responsible for researching and planning these upgrades for bandwidth and redundancy. Throughout the upgrade I oversaw the process and made sure it went smooth and without much interruption to our services.
