Dear All, In a few days financial year 1314 will be part of the Archive. A brief reflection would show..... Jewellery business had a very bumpy ride. But thanks to the well orchestrated efforts in the second half, North region recorded an unlikely but handsome growth (without coin) of 22% overall and 26% studded as it crossed a landmark figure of 3000 crores+ for the first time. Debutant Tanishq stores at Dwarka, The Great India Place and Haldwani had a spectacular run. Vidya Sagar & Gauravs team can take a bow! Titan Eye+ continues to rise, expectedly so. Highest network expansion in a year along with strong same store growth built a solid platform for Mayank and team to race towards their new Mission of 100 stores 100 Cr by 1617. For Watches, FY 13-14 would be recognized as the TURN AROUND year. Numbers wont show it yet as you dont see it when a SEED is under the ground, all set to sprout. The restructuring to One Dealer - One RS - One SE has shown enough early signs of positive influence. Once we are done with RS re-alignment in the coming weeks, we will begin to realize its full potential. Rohit and Rajivs teams can take pride for having weathered the worst without any long term loss. Xylys mania epitomizes Rahuls teams passion and resolve as to what is possible if we can crank ourselves up! Connaught Place, Rohini, DLF - Saket, MGF (Jaipur), Jodhpur and most of the stores in UP/Uttarakhand territory showed remarkable growth. Dehradun combo store set a new benchmark. Abhishek and UP Associates/ teams surely deserve a lot of credit for this accomplishment. Anils LFS team reinvented themselves as they stayed ahead of National growth. Anubhav led Helios team to fight hard despite issues and showed progress especially in the struggling stores. Meenus team proved target is the limitation, not the market! Feroze and Subhashishs team seemed to have cracked a lasting solution for the biggest pain area of watches business.

An army of people from HR, Admin, Legal, Finance, IT, SCM and Associates store/ establishment were part of every high and low of 1314. Many of them are not visible but their contribution is! Rajesh kept the treasury in order as he kept an eye on our ethical standards. Anjali and team gave us Inara, the biggest hit of Tanishq! Sonias Guest House and Shivas hospitality continue to create fans. Lastly, Shiva Kumar, the first Outstanding Titanian from North, brought glory to the region. As we enter 1415, every team has to act in a manner as though there is no tomorrow. We have to believe that we are not a function of external condition and we have more solutions than problems that might come our way! For Watches Team this would be a year of DO or DIE. We have to take charge at an individual level, we have to play it together, play with killer instinct and DELIVER. Nothing short of an Obsession will fit. Time to RISE! My Best Wishes

Tanishq launches Wedding collection


Tanishq unveiled wedding collection on 25th October, 2013 in Delhi. This collection is crafted in timeless Gold, Kundan and Polki, this collection captures inspirations like: Mehndi motifs, flowers, garlands and peacocks. It masterfully crafts them into exquisite wedding jewellery.

TITAN at IITF Titan Flagship CP: First store to retail 100 Xylys in a month Titan DUCATI event at Flagship South Ex
Retail Team - Delhi, organized first of its kind, Titan Ducati Customer Event at Flagship South-Ex Store on Aug 10, 2013. Everything was arranged keeping in mind the premium image and exclusivity of Titan Ducati collection.

Titan Flagship- CP Store, Delhi added another feather to its cap when It became the first ever store in the country to score a century of Xylys in a month. It was a commendable effort by the team, well led by store manager Amit Nath who also became the proud owner of 100th Xylys retailed from the store.

Like last year, this year also Titan Company Ltd. participated in IITF 2013. This year, 600 square feet space was booked at Electronic and White Goods section and products from Watches & Accessories, Eyewear and Mia from Tanishq were showcased. The stall was one of the major hit in the section and attracted more than 2500 customers in 14 days and with a business of Rs. 27.6 Lacs.

Tanishq Launched its L1 format boutique in The Great India Place Mall at Noida on 4th July,2013. This is the 15th Company owned boutique in Delhi NCR.

Titan Store was launched on 21st October, 2013 at Regional OfficeNorth. It houses Titan, Fastrack, Eye plus and Helios brands. We launched Tanishq's 156th and North 2's 21st showroom in Haldwani (Uttarakhand) on 5th October 2013. The showroom is spread across a retail area of 3000 sqft on one floor. The store was inaugurated by Mr. Saumen Bhaumik (AVP & Business Head-North) and our business associate Mr Ashok Tiwari. Inaugurated by Mr. Saumen Bhaumik, Rajesh H and T.B. Singh. A Cake cutting ceremony was done, Invitation to all the customers in the nearby offices.

Tanishq store was launched in Patiala on 12th September, 2013. It was launched by Mr. Vidya SagarRBM- Tanishq (North) and our Business associate Mr. Anil Goyal. It is the 7th Tanishq Store in Punjab, Spread over an area of 2500 Sqft. Spreading its presence, Titan Eye + brand opens 263rd store across 93 cities with the grand launch of its store at Connaught Place. The store was inaugurated by Mr. S Ravikant (CEO Eyewear Division) on 22nd Nov'13. Post ribbon cutting and lamp lighting ceremony, Mr. S Ravikant (CEOEyewear Division) & Mr. Saumen Bhaumik (AVP & Business Head- North) congratulated the team and wished them success in future. The store is spread over an area of approx 1100 sq ft with a wide display of more than thousand products to choose from. Apart from standard services this store also provides a distinctive feature of VMD, advanced technology equipment, which enables customers to choose customized lens as per their eye sight pattern. This store is expected to be a landmark store and will enhance the brand visibility of Titan Eye+ in North.

Area office was inaugurated in Agra at Sanjay Place on 15th Jan, 2013.The new office was inaugurated by Tanishq RBM North-2 Mr. Gaurav Kumar.

Titan Eye+ store was successfully launched in Jaipur - Triton Mall. The store was inaugurated by Mr. Saumen Bhaumik- AVP & Business Head-North on 11th December, 2013.

Titan Eye+ Launched its 1st store in Rajasthan at Ajmer on 28th October, 2013. The Store was inaugurated by Mr. Deepak Dulani (Business Associate) along with Mr. Mayank Kampani (RBMEyewear- North).

Titan Eye+ North did a soft launch of its 4th Spexx Store at Sankara Hospital at Civil Lines, Kanpur. The store was inaugurated by Mr. Yadhvendra SahaiCEO of Sankara Hospital on 25th November, 2013.

Titan Eye+ successfully launched its first store in the beautiful tourist city of Udaipur at Ashok Nagar. The store was inaugurated by Mr. Saumen Bhaumik on 17th January, 2014.

WOT launched its 7th Store in Rajasthan on 5th October,2013. It is spread over an area of 600sqft. We welcome Mr. Mohit as our business associate.

Integrated Club Dealer Meet

he much awaited dealer meet was organized on 30th September, 2013 at Eros Intercontinental Hotel, Delhi. Titan Company has always set a benchmark in the industry. The theme for the dealer meet was Orbit Shift signifying the shift in the relationship and commitment towards the next level. The grandeur and warmth of the Integrated Dealer meet was the talk of the watch industry for many months. The event was graced by the presence of senior management- Mr. C. Srinivasan, Mr Saumen Bhaumik, Mr. Ronnie Talati, Mr. A.R. Srinivasan, Mr. Rajan Amba and other business heads. The morning session witnessed interaction between the RS and the senior management team from Titan and evening was reserved for the Top dealers of the entire North region. Brand wise display of the new launches was also showcased at the counters which were set up at the registration desk to display the new models coming into the market. The new models have been designed based on the feedback given by our dealers. This was the first occasion where only the Top dealers of North were invited post integration of Titan, Sonata and Fastrack brands. Re-launch of the Dealer Loyalty Program was also announced which is based on the following criterion-: The new club is based on total value of purchases done

by a dealer in financial year (All- Titan, Sonata and Fastrack). New Program has 3 clubs- Gold, Platinum and Titanium. Criteria for Gold club was Total watch purchase (All 3 brands)>50lakhs, for Platinum> 1Cr and Titanium > 3Cr. This integration of brands has been very well appreciated by the dealers as the net benefit of their loyalty towards Titan Company has been consolidated. Key benefits offered to the loyal dealers were: Business Plan for all dealers in FY 14-15 Increased communication from Company

Club wise trip to exotic locations Counters and VM kits on priority Permanent campaign boards Dedicated anchor at corporate office for monthly brand communication and problem escalation Sales, Retail, Product, Merchandising Training A feedback survey was also conducted across Top dealers and the New TOT and Dealer Loyalty program have been a result of that.

INTERWEAVE 3
After the great success of Interweave 1 & 2, North region added yet another feather in its cap with the successful 3rd edition of Interweave held on July 24, 2013. The theme of the event was woven around the thought of Beyond the Obvious. The event witnessed the presence of Mr. S. Ravi Kant, Mr. L. R. Natarajan, Mr. Saumen Bhaumik, Mr. Sandeep Kulhalli, Mr. C Srinivasan, Mr. Arun Narayan, Mr. Bhuwan Gaurav, Ms. Deepika Tiwari, Mr. A. R. Srinivasan, Mr. Nirmal Lobo, Mr. Sumand Sood, Mr. Rajratnam and other dignitaries from Corporate Office, Hosur Watches Factory and Dehradun Factory. The platform generated 35 plus cutting edge innovative ideas with huge potential of bringing in a big change. The Jury had a tough task to decide on the winners and the top slot was shared by Gaurav Malhotra, Varsha Jain (Tanishq) and Subodh Kumar Verma (Titan Eye+). Gaurav Midha (Tanishq) bagged the second price while third Prize was awarded to Abhinav Jindal and Ashu Jain (Corporate Sales). Asmita & Ruchi of Tanishq Design Team won the Jury's Award. Mohammed Shaban (Watches) and Gaurav Malhotra & Varsha Jain (Tanishq) won the People's choice award. The event generated huge appreciation and culminated with a strong determination of cross functional implementation of these ideas on a bigger scale.

Senior Citizen's Day


Titan Eye+ Paschim Vihar celebrated the senior citizens day on 21st Aug, 2013 at Joggers Park where most of the senior citizens visit in evening. A cake cutting ceremony was held. They were extremely happy with the activity and appreciated the store employees for this initiative. People also visited the stores with their family and got their eye check-up done. Similarly Titan Eye+ Panchkula, Chandigarh-Sec 17, Mohali, Jammu and Dehradun-Ashley Hall also invited senior citizens to the stores. A cake cutting ceremony was conducted to mark the beginning of the event. All the guests were requested to share their best memories relating to the brand. They were asked to share one special memory that they would want to create in the upcoming year. Their valuable feedbacks were taken over a session of snacks served, as a token of thanks, movie tickets were gifted to the guests.

Doctor's Day
Gurgaon
Tanishq Doctor Customers as well as Non-Tanishq Doctor customer of Gurgaon vicinity were invited to an evening of Fun and frolic at Radisson Blu Gurgaon. More than 80 doctors along with their family members were invited and were regaled by a Ghazal singer and cocktail dinner.

Doctor's Day was celebrated on 1st July,2013 across all the stores of Titan in North. The employees of Titan Eye+ visited the doctors & presented THANK YOU cards acknowledging their work & to let them know their role in an individual's life. Some of the doctors also visited our Titan Stores where they were presented with the Thank You cards.

Father's Day
Father's day was celebrated across North on 16th June, 2013. Customers were provided with the cards for their father, they wrote slogans for their fathers, and the best slogan was awarded.

Mother's Day

On 12th of May, Team CSR-North celebrated Mother's Day with 6 mothers and 55 kids in the SOS Children Village, Faridabad. It was followed by singing, painting, thanks giving, cake cutting and treating the kids with refreshments. Titan also presented 6 beautiful Raga watches to the 6 mothers of these kids; as a token of appreciation to them for their noble contribution to these kids' lives, needless to say, the mothers were extremely delighted with the celebration. On the same day Anil End law from Team CSRNorth along with his daughters celebrated Mother's Day with 8 Mothers of Father Agnel School who takes care of children there. It was a surprise given to them as they were not informed and in afternoon we presented a cake and invited them to cut cake with all the children around.

Teachers Day Celebration


A Cross Functional Team comprising of members from all the divisions was formed for Teachers Day this year, reaching about 1735 Schools with Teachers Discount offer on all Titan Brands. About 1000 certificates were given to the Teachers; A Special Red Encircle cards- were enrolled about to 17402 teachers in the region. My Favorite Teachers Contest was conducted in 46 Schools. It was done all across Delhi NCR, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chandigarh & Karnal. Titan also went to acknowledge the teachers at a Blind School in Lajpat Nagar.

Independence Day
WOT & Titan Eye + Astley Hall Dehradun store celebrated Independence Day by inviting their customers to write a message for the Indian army who has been constantly at the borders fighting for our country, around 20 messages were collected, and top 3 messages were rewarded.

Rakshabandhan
Rakshabandhan was celebrated on 20th August,13 at Titan Eye+ Chandigarh-Sec 17 and Mohali, wherein Customers were asked to pen down their best memories about rakhi / best attribute of their siblings, around 30 messages were collected, and the best were rewarded.

Diwali Celebration
Diwali the festival of lights, spirituality, festivity & fervor was celebrated at Regional Office- North on 31st October, 2013. In the midst of their busy work schedules, everybody made a point to be a part of the Diwali celebration at the office. The whole office was decorated with lights, everybody came dressed in ethnic Indian outfits. Lunch & fun games were organized for the employees, & people had a gala time playing Tambola. Namita Tandon was declared as Ms Beauty & Rajat Duggal as Mr. Handsome. Mr. Saumen Bhaumik-AVP & Business Head- North distributed Diwali gifts to each & every employee along with the CHS staff present at the Regional office. Diwali was celebrated at all the Watches & Eyewear stores also across North. The employees came dressed in ethnic wear on the Diwali day i.e. 3rd November, 2013 and the best dressed employees were recognized.

Community connect : Fusion of North & South


Community connect is always a strong point for Tanishq store in the country, this time in North 1 we decided to re-energize our connect with the Tamil community by celebrating Pongal in an extraordinary way. Stores were decorated by the VM team in traditional south Indian way and every Tamil customer of the stores were wished and invited to the store for celebrations. We organized Rangoli Competitions and special customer meets at stores and offered freshly prepared Pongal to every walk-in throughout the day. Customers were surprised and appreciated the effort made by the team. And the local festival - Lohri (North Indian harvest festival) was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm in the region, Stores offered Lohri special snacks throughout the day and staff was dressed in special traditional attire. Bathinda Tanishq store's effort needs a special mention here as they were at their traditional best by being dressed in typical Punjabi attire, with bonfire outside their store and by decorating the store in the best manner possible for the occasion. In Delhi 8 stores were covered in a special activity by customer experience team, wherein 200 High value customers were gifted a special Gajak Box. Customers were pleasantly surprised and appreciated the gesture, it was the first time ever we celebrated the festival like this. Both celebrations have set the tone right and have given a boost to the already thriving relationship with the customers.

It was no less than a miracle to witness the inauguration of North India's Largest Watch & Eye wear Store. These words truly capture the soul and structure of this association between Titan Company Limited and its Karol Bagh franchisee, Mr. Kulbir Oberoi, who was gushing with pride to witness this event.

This is the only store of its kind in North that houses World Of Titan, Fastrack Store, Helios and Eye plus. The store is spread over 5000 sq ft of retail space and comprises more than 30 international brands across watches and eyewear segment.

Mr. Kulbir Oberoi does not need any introduction to this organization. He comes from a family, who're associated with the organization for the last 22 years. This association between Titan Company and Oberoi family runs deep into history when Oberois decided to take franchisee of World of titan store at Karol Bagh, New Delhi. From that day onwards, this association has gone stronger and stronger. After taking over the reins of business operations from his mother in 2007, Kulbir always wanted to grow his business. He has been persistently working along with the company on this idea to house the all retail flagship stores of Titan Company ltd. under one roof. Fortune favours the Brave and so it did. It takes courage to live your dream. The seeds of this store were sown some 6 months back and everyone got down working to make it a reality. It took 70 days of hard work, planning and team work to put this edifice in place. The early morning of November 29th, 2013 at Karol bagh market was bustling with activities. The guests were coming in to greet Mr. Oberoi. The Store was inaugurated by Mr H.G. Raghunath (CEO Watches & Accessories Division) and Mr Saumen Bhaumik (Regional Business Head North) along with a very loyal and old customer of WOT Karol Bagh, Mr. Sunil Vasudev. The store was draped in myriad colours to render an apt backdrop to the occasion. Everything

went as per schedule and the store was handed over for operations. The year 2013-14 is a year of churning (manthan) in Titan. The organization is consolidating operations at all fronts to leverage synergy and expel inefficiencies out of the system. The individual Business units have been merged into one Watch and Accessories Division and teams have been revamped to align to this new structure. This strategic change-over rests upon the bedrock maxim of United we stand... This showroom truly represents the spirit of this newly acquired avatar of the organization through integrating all the brands at one place. The showroom was launched with full fervour well supported by 360 degree activities which included Newspaper advertisement on the launch day; huge hoarding in the main market and the

pre-launch campaign on FM Radio. Radio City, a popular FM channel would broadcast its show Route No. 911 in the evening (hosted by famous RJs adi and Khurki) from the store premises on the day of inauguration. The store witnessed 250 plus walk-in on the inauguration day and every customer was enamoured by the grandeur of this unique store. The store created history by registering the highest ever launch day sales of 14.7 lacs spread across 4 Stores with World of Titan contributing 11 lacs; a landmark in itself in the history of World of Titan. With an enthusiasm of a bride and restiveness of a child, the journey of this integration has begun to write many a milestones.

Initiative by Titan Eye+ MGF Gurgaon


Titan Eye + MGF Gurgaon tied up with Indus World School on its Carnival on 24th August, 2013. A Presentation was carried on Eye care tips explaining the parents and teachers about various aspects of caring eyes, online eye testing and corporate partnership program. A Free eye testing camp was also conducted to benefit visitors; regular announcements were made to spread the awareness about Titan Eye+ program. Jaspreet Singh- Area ManagerEyewear, Anurag Singh Tomar (Regional optometrist) along with CPP team & Babban Kumar (Store InchargeTitan Eye+ MGF Gurgaon) helped in the successful conduct of the event.

Language No Bar

Who says sales happen when customer comes to the store. CP store team members went to Hotel Taj Man Singh in Delhi and retailed Nebula new variant 1043DM01 (UCP 4.2 Lacs) to an international customer, a sheikh from Dubai. What was more heartening was that customer did not speak our language and CROs had a hard time in explaining the features of the watch. But in the end, customer was highly impressed and bought watches worth 6 Lacs including Nebula 1043DM01. It was incidentally the first variant of the new nebula to be retailed across the country and partners in crime were Sandeep, Ankur and Rashid. Kudos to them and miles to go for Flagship CP.

Customer Delight Stories

Husband Wife Patch up On 15th Nov our CRO Babita called a customer whom she always attends when he comes to the store. She had noted his anniversary in her diary. She called to wish him and also asked him for his wife's no. so that she could wish her on behalf of Titan. He was overwhelmed to receive a call from Titan for his anniversary but at the same time, he was a bit sad because his wife was annoyed with him and she had gone to her parents place. Next, Babita called up his wife and wished her too. She was very happy to receive the call for her anniversary wishes but again she was sad too because of a fight with her husband. Babita told her that she had called her husband to wish him but he was very sad and he was missing her. After that, Babita made them talk on a conference call from her phone and told both of them that they should speak and also wish each other. The couple was very happy to speak to each other and they forgot their fight and were very happy that Babita helped them patch up. They were invited to the store in the evening where the store celebrated their anniversary with cake cutting. CRO Name- Babita Customer Name- Mr. Bhupinder

Tanishq
Mr. Anand was looking for an anniversary gift for his parents when he walked in our Tanishq store. As he was buying for the first time from Tanishq so he was a little bit apprehensive about our gold rate, diamond rate & making charges. Then, the RSO explained him all about Tanishq brand, schemes, loyalty program, promises & offers. He was very satisfied with the dealing & shortlisted three sets to finalize one. Now he wanted to show these sets to his mother waiting inside the car in parking area. He wanted to carry these sets to her to select one. Then, we asked him to take his mother inside the store but he was not ready for this. When we asked the reason, firstly he denied answering but then he replied, Actually my mother is disabled & she can't walk. Soon after that we arranged a wheel chair & took his mother inside the store. His father was also along with them. They finalized one diamond set & a finger ring to buy. We also arranged a cake & bouquet for them as it was their anniversary. After billing we enjoyed the cake cutting ceremony with the customer & gave bouquet to them wishing them happy anniversary. They were extremely delighted with this kind of activity. At the time of leaving the store Mr. Anand told, I used to purchase jewellery for last three four years for my parents from various jewellers, but I never got this kind of customer service & hospitality anywhere. Titan Eye+
Delighting customers by extending the services beyond the store. Mrs. Vidya Kalra, 72 years old had visited our store after she received our leaflet during the door to door activity. As she was very old and weak, her son took her in a car to our store but she was unable to walk comfortably to the store due to her age. Our EWC Ms Sonu, saw this and she went to the old lady and asked her Ma'am is there any problem can I help you then her son said that my mother cannot walk if possible please show her frame inside the car itself. Then EWC Ms Sonu took the permission from store manager to show the frames in her car. The consultant helped her to select some of the frames as well as lenses inside the car itself while taking the techincal measurements. The old lady was amazed that we titanians provide her the service beyond our limitations; she got the right solution for herself. Her son was also glad to see our extended service and customer centric approach. ur association with Titan dates back to early 90's and my personal interaction started in 1998 with the launch of the Tanishq store on MI Road, Jaipur. It has been a very pleasant experience, and I really appreciated the values the company stands for, the customer service standards it help maintain, the employee motivation it manages to create even in franchised stores, and the respect and courtesy in dealings with all its stake holders. Also appreciable is the transparency in policies and concern for franchisee profitability. I have had the chance of dealing with a number of retail companies in India, but the standards and ethics imbibed in each and every person associated with Titan is really commendable, and it is not without reason that customers too see the company in the same light. When the opportunity to expand further with Titan presented itself in the form of Helios, we had no qualms about going for it, as we are sure in our minds that the Team will make the concept work. Mr. Shiva Kumar (Tanishq South Ex) made the Region North proud by winning the OT 2014 Award; His Project was towards a deviation- free, smoother, faster & efficient store operations. A DAY @ TITAN

Team HR- North took this new initiative of A Day @ Titan for employee's family members. The aim of this program is to strengthen the bond of the employees & their families with the company. The day started with their welcome by Mr. Saumen Bhaumik. They were given

insights on what values Titan holds & were shown a clipping of how people's lives transformed at Titan. They were taken to World of Titan store at South Ex, Tanishq store at South Ex, and Titan Eye+ store at Malviya Nagar, where they got free eye testing done.

TITAN'S DAY OUT 2014


The most cheerful event, Titan's Day out was organized on 28th February'14 at New Delhi. All the employees from Watches Division, Support functions and the franchisee employees from retail stores of Delhi/ NCR were present along with the team from Regional Office. Most of them came dressed as per the theme of the night Party all night. Kamalika & Rahul Pandey welcomed the gathering. Mr. Saumen Bhaumik, AVP & Business Head North inspired the crowd by recognizing their hard efforts. Titan's Got Talent saw amazing talents of the employees; Employees astonished the crowd present with their singing & dancing skills. Mr.Abhishek ( Service WOT South Extension) won Best Performance Award for Magic Show ,Mr. Pradeep Kumar (Helios Lajpat Nagar) won the Best Singer Award, WOT Saket Team ( Mahalingam, Zainab & Shalu) won the Best Group Dance award , & Mr. Mohd. Rashid (Titan CP) won the Jury's Choice for recitation of his own poem. Store Teams and Individuals were awarded for their accomplishments by Mr. Saumen Bhaumik and other Regional Heads. The event ended with lot of fun on the dance floor !!! TITAN HAD A BIG DAY OUT!!!

Employees Kids Fancy Dress Competition


The Team-HR- North organized a fancy dress competition for the Kids of employees of Delhi NCR, on 28th June, 2013 at Tanishq Kamla Nagar. The kids were dressed up in creative costumes. There were many pretty fairies and Punjabi mundas along with fearsome tigers and brave policemen. Kids were also seen in the costumes of Shree Krishna, Rani Laxmibai, Maharana Pratap, Telly Tubby, Kerala girl and Tamil Boy etc. The jury comprised Mr. Saumen Bhaumik- AVP & Business Head-North along with the HOD's from the Regional Office. Dhairya Dogra (son of Vivek Dogra- Titan Eye+), Shlok Gusain (son of Deepak Gusain-Titan Eye+) and Aavish Jain (son of Meenu jain- Tanishq) were declared the winners in the first group aged between 12 yrs. Shreeya Tomar(daughter of Poonam Talwar- Tanishq), Prashasm Chaudhary (son of Manvi grover chaudhary- Titan) and Aditya Chopra (son of Rahul Chopra- Titan Eye+) were declared the winners in the second group aged between 2-4 yrs.

Nikunj Rastogi (son of Gaurav vardhanTanishq)and Ananya (daughter of Asha Das)were declared the winners of the third group aged between 4-5 yrs. And Hridyaveer (son of Adarsh- Tanishq)& Sharanya Mahalingam (daughter of K Mahalingam- Titan Watches)were declared the winners of last group of kids above 6 yrs.

Adieu to a true Titanian

Nidhi Gill, daughter of Mr. Raj Singh (Customer ServiceNorth) did her father proud by getting 84% in Class XII Board Examinations. Earlier she scored 10 CGPA in Class X Board Examinations.

The Journey that started on 17th August,1987 spanning more than two and a half decades, came to a fruitful end on 31st December, 2013.Mr. TB Singh, popularly known as Dicky has been a blue blooded Titanian. Dicky started his life in Titan as a strapping young 'serd' in the field of Sales and several years later, moved to a completely new area as Head of department - Manufacturing in Baddi. He came back to Delhi in another avatar as Head of HR for RO- North and hung his boots at the end of 2013. A Table tennis match was organized on 30th Dec, 2013 at the Regional Office where the employees played the match with good spirits with their favorite Dicky Paaji, who has already been a runner-up of the TT championship that was held at RO, last year. A farewell party with the theme Singh is King was organized in the evening where all his male colleagues were dressed as Sardars donning the famous headgear, turban. His wife & son were present for the function. Mr. Bhaskar Bhat, Mr. Rajnarayan and Mr. AR Srinivasan along with Mr. Saumen Bhaumik were also present. The evening ended on an emotional note with friends & colleagues wishing him good luck & good health for the future. Adios my friend, the road you have travelled has just found a bend, enjoy your life on your own terms and continue to spread your goodness around.

OLIVIA BANERJEE, Daughter of Mr. Sunetro Banerjee (Watches DivisionRegional OfficeNorth) did her parents proud by getting 9.2 CGPA in CBSE 2013 Class X Board Examinations. In individual subject, she got 10 CGPA in science. Titan Eye+ - North celebrated Store of the Month for Delhi/ NCR on 1st October'13. 80 employees along with their family members celebrated this evening along with the Regional Team North. Ambience, Food, Fun added different flavor to the celebration.

CUSTOMER FIRST PROGRAM

LFS League of Champion winners were announced on 6th July, 13 for the month of April and May. Mr. Saumen Bhaumik awarded the CROs at the regional office along with Anil Endlaw, Amit Tandon and Samresh. The winners for the month of April from top 100 stores were Nipendra from Shopperstop Noida and Ravi Sharma (who sold highest tommy watches in the country in LFS channel) from Shopperstop Rajouri. Winners for the month of April from other stores were Naveen Kumar from Pantaloons -Bareilly and Saket. May'13 winners from top 100 stores were Ketan Kaushal (who sold maximum sunglasses in North in LFS channel) from Shopperstop Rajouri and Anil Kumar from Lifestyle Gurgaon. May'13 winners from other stores were Dhain Singh from Shopperstop Chandigarh and Surender from Lifestyle Vasant Kunj.

Delhi was touching 46 degrees but it couldn't restrict the employees from participating in the TT championship that was held in the RO-North from 20th May- 25th May'13. In Singles semi- finals, T.B. Singh, popularly known as Dicky (HR & Admin) won against Amit Kaushik (Commercial) to clash with Anil Kumar (Tanishq) in Finals. Anil Kumar from (Tanishq), like his built looked macho in the match reached to finals comfortably beating Arun Kumar from (Fastrack). In doubles semifinals, Anil/Sujoy (Tanishq) and Kumud/Prabhav (Commercial) reached to finals in straight sets. It was certainly a delight to see an exclusive wrestle between patience and aggression. SINGLES WINNER: ANIL KUMAR DOUBLES WINNER: ANIL-SUJOY. Titan Eye+ North had a grand meet to launch the Customer First Program for Delhi stores on 3rd October, 2013. The program was launched by Mr. Saumen Bhaumik, AVP & Business Head- North, Mr. Javed, Mr. Parag Dhiman from Customer Experience & Retail Marketing team Corporate Office and Mr. Mayank Kampani, Regional Business Manager, North. franchisee Mr. Subodh Agarwal was also celebrated. Face to Face was also held at Meerut & Dehradun where everybody enjoyed & had a blast. Chandigarh The Integration of all the brands was seen at Face to Face- Chandigarh, on 17th May'13. It was attended by All the RBMs, Senior Management of Regional Office North and the store employees of Tanishq, Eye +, WOTs and Helios. The Event began with lighting of the lamp by Mr. Saumen Bhaumik, AVP & business Head-North, followed by a welcome speech by him addressing the gathering. All the stores put up a rocking show capturing their boundless energy & spirit of gaiety. The best RSO's/ Store Managers/ Optometrists and Technician were awarded for their brilliant work. And usual to Punjab, Everybody enjoyed the 3D's to their fullest DJ, Drink and Dinner. The event was highlighted with wonderful performances, sumptuous food & loads of fun and excitement.

FACE 2 FACE

Delhi North-1 celebrated Face to Face on 15th July 2013 in Delhi, Mr. Sandeep Kulhalli and Mr. Saumen Bhaumik, guest of the evening were welcomed by Mr. Vidya Sagar. South-Ex Tanishq was honored on achieving 300 Cr in 2012'13; highest ever in any Tanishq Boutique. 15 Tanishq stores participated in the event and the theme for the event was Tanishq in British Era of Mughal Dynasty. Wonderful skits were presented by all the Tanishq Boutiques.

Allahabad Face to Face was held on 9th July at Hotel Kanha Shyam at Allahabad with all Titan brands (Tanishq, WOT, Fastrack, Eye plus). In this event, ABMs, RM's of all the brands & Regional HR team were also present. Varanasi Face to face was held at Hotel Taj Gateway in Varanasi on 10th July with Two Tanishq stores (Kuber & Bhelupur) Two WOT & Titan one stores. Yoga for Employees Team Bonding-N2 at RO Delhi & Area Office, Lucknow

Prevention is Better Then Cure. Team north has taken up the initiative to teach Yoga through a Yoga expert to all the employees. Basic techniques of breathing and few Asanas were taught.

Driving the mission of 'Titan in every heart and every Home' of north further, Team Tanishq at North-2 joined hands and amidst some interesting activities, not only reinforced the importance of teamwork, but also chartered out a path, through Customer Acquisition, Customer Retention and Franchisee Management. As destiny would have it,the dates of this two-day session for the Tanishq-North-2 team,conducted on 18th and 19th Dec,2013, coincided with the dates of the first team bonding session (held on 18th and 19th May,2012) which gave birth to the mission for the North region.

Through the Lens of Sales Officer


The contours of Sales team in Titan Company Ltd. have undergone a sea change after integration of Brands. The Front end of the Sales Team comprises Sales officers (SO)/Sales Executive (SE) who are the flag bearers of the organization's goals. This article strives to capture life of a Sales-Officer post integration. As the Saying goes With great authority comes great responsibility; the sales team felt the change from the day one after assuming newer roles and responsibilities. The Sales officer could feel the weight of three brands on his shoulder though he enjoyed better control over an outlet business. Suddenly the pressure increased manifold due to higher involvement at every level. SO now becomes a single point contact for every brand leading to multiple queries and multiple follow ups taking considerable time usage for back end work but with greater authority. This change-over brought them to a new reality. They were struggling to shun brand identities and philosophies they were living with till yesterday and assume new identities. Now, they are part of new teams with new expectations. Every strategic decision splinters new challenges and opportunities. Business associates have their share of qualms through these decisions. Though they got disoriented initially but they have the confidence of seamless transformation; given the organization background. They feel it was always uncomplicated to follow and translate single brand goals and identities for a SO and an associate. Some feel nostalgic about their earlier days while some look forward to new learning. Some front end team members feel that the organization has gone insular towards market expectations and needs and becoming overbearing in its demeanor. It becomes extremely difficult to live up to expectations of all the brands put together in these tough market conditions which could diminish sales team chances to earn monetary benefits through incentives. Sales Team feel little carried away with the pace and expectations of these newly christened objectives. Their work life balance seems to hit turbulence; though short-lived but unnerving. This organization takes care well of its employees and this exercise of taking one out of one's comfort zone is always fraught with challenges. While one may discuss pros and cons of integration but on a larger horizon the decision to consolidate brands at market level seems to have gone well with the most important stakeholders' i.e. Front end Sales team. It is premature to settle down to a conclusive thought on this transformation but these pangs are congenital and shall mature into a wholesome reality of control and growth.

I
Having confidence in your look will make a difference to your life. Human Brains are programmed to respond to visual appeal first and those who could manage this, take away the limelight.
remember when I started my career; my father told me Son, you are going to enter a world where people around you would not only know you by your work, but largely through your confidence. It took some time for me to realize, what he said. Confidence is one of life's little essentials except that it isn't that little and it is one of the most important things any self respecting person must master. Confidence could be the difference between you and that job, between you and that girl, between you and that long-drive, between you and success. Confidence as a topic may sound clichd, but if you don't want to look stupid, it is something you really need. It takes confidence to step out of our house; it takes confidence to even cross the road; it takes confidence to believe in yourself enough to not to do something embarrassing. Building your confidence is a neverending task. As and when we come across such confident people, we

wonder from where he/she brings in the confidence? It doesn't happen overnight. Unless you are blessed, confidence has to be earned; it won't just fall in your lap. Confidence is about so much more than just your belief in yourself. It gets absolutely difficult to measure the impact; confidence (in what you wear and how you look) will have on your prospects, your personality and the way the world perceives you. Knowing this that you look good will change the way you walk, the way you behave and the impact a glance can make. As long as you know that you look good, in what you wear, you feel confident. We humans follow the law of conformity. As a society we restrain or behave in a manner to blend in and hope that something good will happen to us eventually. To really build confidence in your appearance/look, you will have to find the right style for YOU. Find that style. Do not follow others blindly. One would end up losing one's confidence and image in absence of this clarity. Consider your ideas carefully, build up a collection of images which personify your style and outfits which look good on you. Pin them on your wall, look at them everyday for a couple of weeks and see if your opinion changes. Always remember that you must be comfortable in your clothes. It may take time to get comfortable with a new look as it might feel uncomfortable at first. You must carry on till you get to the point where it feels normal and you start feeling in sync with it. Having confidence in your look will make a difference to your life. Human Brains are programmed to respond to visual appeal first and those who could manage this, take away the limelight. Most importantly, one should stay healthy to look good and feel confident. Good Clothes cannot make you look good if you're not healthy and fit. You shall feel happy with your looks and sport a pleasing demeanor every day. You will take a lot more pride in your appearance. It really is worth an effort. Be Happy. Be Confident!!
