COAL EXPERIENCE OWNERS ENGINEER

GHECO1 660 MW coal-fired power project 2008-2012 for Glow Energy (Suez), Thailand Owners Engineer for Thailands first supercritical coal-fired power plant. The role commenced at EPC NTP and concluded at COD. It covered both design review and construction supervision. Calaca 2x300 MW coal-fired refurbishment project 2007-08 for Suez, Philippines Refurbishment Engineer for a 20 year old unit which required significant upgrading to meet operational and environmental requirements. Client also required fuel switch to high moisture coal. Work included initial assessment, plans for improvement and tendering. BLCP 2x700 MW coal-fired power project 200406 for CLP, Thailand Owners Engineer for Thailands largest coalfired power plant. The role commenced at EPC NTP and concluded at COD. It covered both design review and construction supervision. Yuzhou 2x350 MW coal-fired power project 2000-01 for XLG, China Commissioning Engineer services for a large coal-fired project in Henan Province, China. Work included both construction and commissioning support. Sual 2x600 MW coal fired power project 19962000 for CEPA / Mirant, Philippines Owners Engineer for the largest coal-fired power plant in the Philippines. The role commenced at EPC NTP and concluded at COD. It covered both technical and technocommercial aspects. Nantong 2x375 MW coal-fired power project 1998-99 for HPI, China Commissioning Engineer services for a large coal-fired project in Jiangsu Province, China. Work included both construction and commissioning support.

COAL EXPERIENCE LENDERS ENGINEER

Worsley 104 MW and 550 Tonnes per Hour of Steam coal-fired cogen project for Griffin Energy, Australia (2008ongoing) Lead Lender: National Australia Bank NAB The project was refinanced during the construction phase with a project cost of AUD1.1 billion. OWL commenced working on the project at NTP. Due to the EPC Contractor being declared insolvent OWL played a significant role in arranging for replacement of the contractor and working in an Alliance type arrangement. Bluewaters 2x208 MW coal-fired power project for Griffin Energy, Australia (2006 ongoing) Lead Lender: Australia New Zealand Bank ANZ Total project value was AUD1.1 billion, obtained through two rounds of financing. OWLs involvement was from initial concept, through two rounds of financing, construction and are now providing annual reviews through the loan repayment period.

210 MW Mindanao Coal-fired Plant (2003 - 2007) Lead Arrangers: Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau, HypoVerinsbank, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstien OWL advised Lenders on technical aspects of the project beginning from the pre-financing stage, including due diligence assessment of plant, site quarterly visits during construction, and yearly audits once Commercial Operation commenced in the 4th quarter of 2006.

Managing Director, Chief Engineer: Anthony Tony Segadelli Mr. Segadelli has extensive experience in the power generation sector and has spent the last 16 years in East Asia. His work experience covers the full spectrum from pre-feasibility and due diligence studies to tendering, construction management and commissioning to training operations and maintenance teams plus due diligence and insurance reviews. His project management skills, including technical, commercial and legal, have been enhanced by completing a Masters Degree in Project Management. He has led studies on technically challenging fuels and fuel conversion studies as well as managing projects on a range of technologies including coal fired plants, combined cycle gas turbines, gas engines, solar photovoltaic biogas and biomass projects. He is highly experienced in working for lenders, developers and insurers. Director of Operations: Anucha Chumchuen Mr. Chumchuen has over 17 years of experience as a power plant engineer, project engineer, and application engineer for Burner & Flare Products, QA/QC engineer (site and factory), pipeline engineer, piping and mechanical engineer. His expertise in mechanical engineering covers biomass, biogas, coal and CCGT plants throughout the project life cycle including feasibility studies, detailed design and construction / commissioning supervision either working for developers or for lenders. Engineering Manager: Ron Davis Mr. Davis has over 23 years of combined design/consulting and site-based experience in the US and Asia-Pacific, including CCGT, coal-fired, nuclear, and hydro power plants, transmission systems, and hi-tech industrial facilities. His site experience includes design liaison, lead construction, and lead commissioning positions. His design/ consulting experience includes project management, equipment inspection audits, factory visits, due diligence, equipment failure investigations, plus independent, lender's and owners engineer roles. Senior Advisor: Than Hlaing Mr. Hlaings 36 years experience includes developing feasibility studies, concept of plant design and engineering for coal fired, CCGT and biomass power plants. He has been responsible for detailed design and design review for a range of technologies as well as EPC contract administration for construction of coal and CCGT power plants plus gas pipe lines, this includes being Owners Engineer for the construction of coal and CCGT power plants. Senior Mechanical Engineer: Werawat Niempasuk Mr. Niempasuk has 16 years of mechanical engineering experience, primarily in the front end engineering sector. His expertise includes thermodynamic modelling, preparing conceptual designs, tendering, cost estimating and developing schedules. His expertise covers both biomass and CCGT technologies Senior Mechanical Engineer: Suppachai Srasri Mr. Srasri has 10 years of mechanical engineering experience, primarily in boiler and power island technologies. He has extensive experience in biomass power projects having developed detailed designs and specifications for a wide variety of fuels. He is also experienced in CCGT power projects
