Nouns Unicorn

A woman who is supposed to have magic powers, especially to do bad things. Witches are supposed to fly over the city on Halloween.

To put a magic spell on someone or something in order to control them. Austin's utterly bewitched by her.

VERB Conjure
To make something appear by magic, or as if by magic. The magician conjured a rabbit out of his hat.

VERB Slay
To kill in a violent way. Prince Riley slew the giant with his sword.

VERB Impersonate
To attempt to deceive someone by pretending that you are another person. He was fined for impersonating a police officer.

VERB Loathe
To hate someone or something. Why are you wearing that tie, you know how I loathe it!

VERB Dance
To move your feet and body in a way that matches the style and speed of music. The bride danced with her father

VERB Slug
To hit someone hard with your closed hand. He slugged her and she fell to the ground.

VERB Kill
To cause someone or something to die. The car hit a cat and killed it.

VERB Delve
To search, especially as if by digging, in order to find a thing or information. She delved into her pocket to find some change.

ADJECTIVE Charming
Very pleasing or attractive.

Connor was such a charming young man.

ADJECTIVE Enchanting
Very beautiful or magical. What an enchanting place for a picnic!

ADJECTIVE Creepy
Making you feel nervous and slightly frightened. That house is really creepy.

ADJECTIVE Grumpy
Bad-tempered and easily annoyed. Our boss is always grumpy on Monday mornings.

ADJECTIVE Forbidden
Not allowed, especially by law. Father's new rock garden is forbidden territory to the children.

ADJECTIVE Ambiguous
Unclear, confusing, having or expressing more than one possible meaning, sometimes intentionally. As it stands, the phrase is very ambiguous.

ADJECTIVE Fantastic
Extremely good, attractive, enjoyable. His stories are full of fantastic creatures.

As if produced by magic. The magical effect of the evening sun reflected in the waters of the lake.

Not afraid of taking risks or trying new things.
