Treatment: Cefixime 400 mg orally in a single dose, Ceftriaxone 125 mg IM in a single dose, Ciprofloxacin 500 mg orally in a single dose, Ofloxacin 400 mg orally in a single dose, PLUS Azithromycin 1 g orally in a single dose, Doxycycline 100 mg orally twice a day for 7 days To avoid re-infection, any sexual partners should be treated too

3. Genital Wart Caused by: Human papillomavirus (HPV) Symptoms: Warts growing in genital areas, anus, thighs, the urinary tract Increased dampness in the genital area near the warts Increased vaginal discharge Genital itching Vaginal bleeding during or after sex

Treatment: Genital warts should only be treated by your doctor should you use over-the-counter wart treatments to try to remove genital warts 4. Syphilis Caused by : Treponema pallidum bacterium Symptoms: Painless wounds on genitals, rectum, tongue or lips , swelling of lymph glands in thighs, pain in the bones or joints, and rash on the body.

Treatment: Can be cured with antibiotic Penicillin is the treatment of choice for treating syphilis 5. AIDS Caused by: HIV (human immune deficiency virus) Symptoms: Continues fatigue Excessive sweating at night Fever <38 C Constant headache Treatment : There is no treatment for AIDS but some drug regimens that combine medications such as AZT (Retrovir) with ritonavir or norvir are proving effective at strengthening immunity.

6. Epididimitis Caused by: E. coli and Chlamydia bacterium. Symptoms: Abdominal or flank pain , begins in vas deferens and then go down to the epididymis. Scrotum pain and swelling: The epididymis may swell to twice normal size within 3-4 hours Pain on urination, occasionally blood in the urine. Fever and chills, nausea.

Treatment: Ceftriaxone (Rocephin): As a single dose either in an IM (intramuscular) shot or through an IV line and 1 dose of azithromycin -> 3 Day Bed rest, while elevating the scrotum and applying ice packs to the area, is recommended.
