Things that come to mind...one of the first pictures of the as tronaut with the animal heads show his arms hanging down, but a second set of ha nds coming out of the wings. Of course Icarus comes to mind! Did they strap on t his device? As the pictures progress one of the last ones shows multiple arms/ha nds connected to the astronaut...reminiscent of the deities of Hinduism, or deva s.
