AMA+ Scholarship FAQ ** All the necessary and important information are indicated in the AMA application form

and FAQ on the website. Please read it very carefully before you apply. 1. When is the application period? Generally, it is from April 1st to July 31st. Please check the announcements of the notice board on English website around April to early May each year. 2. Where can I apply from? Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, Cambodia, China, Laos, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tibet. Countries in Latin and South America and Africa Students from Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Brunei are not eligible to apply. 3. Should my major be identical to the area of study Im applying for? It would be highly preferred if your intended department at K-Arts is identical with the major you have studied, even though it is not a requirement. However, if you apply for a graduate program, you should have relevant work experiences. 4. How much Korean language ability should I have? Please read AMA+ qualifications for each department on the application form very carefully. Most classes are taught in Korean. Therefore, Korean language ability is essential for the proper education. 5. After sending application documents, how will I know if it is safely arrived? Applicants must confirm with the post office or the express service company by themselves. We are sorry that due to such a high number of applicants, we cannot send an individual notice. 6. If I was rejected, can I get back my application documents? We cannot return any of application documents or materials back to the applicants. 7. I graduated from the university a long time ago and so I cannot get a recommendation letter. What should I do? You may submit a recommendation letter written by a recommender who knows you well about your current situation and ability for your education at K-Arts. For instance, a reference letter from your boss at your company is effective but a reference letter from your friends or relatives is not

acceptable for a review. 8. When will I know the results of the examination? We will try to announce the final grantees of the scholarship in October. However due to the special circumstance, a delay might be occur until November. 9. What happens once I am admitted? For those who have been accepted, the school will send an email for your arrival preparation and notices directly to an individual grantee. Therefore, please carefully type your email address, post address, and phone number in your application form. 10. I sent an email but didnt get a response. What happened? All the information necessary for the applicants are available in the application form and FAQ on the website. Please refer to the information on our English website very carefully.

11. For the certificate of a checkup, what exactly do I need checked? Please ask for a medical checkup for studying abroad at the hospital or Clinique nearby. read carefully what is required in the check-up box on the application form. 12. What should I write on the certificate of finance? Write your current financial status and the details of the status of any related subjects in your family. (Parents occupation, their financial status, etc.). Please honestly explain about the status of your and your guardians financial situation for the study. You must submit you and your parents (guardian)s annual personal income tax clearance certificate for the present year. 13. May I apply without a passport? If you cannot get your passport before the last day of application, apply first. Then please submit your copy of passport via fax as soon as you have made or renewed your passport possible. I cannot decide whether if I should apply for bachelor or master degree. What should I do? You must have been graduated from 4 year course of undergraduate university program and have obtained bachelor degree if you want to apply graduate program. Please

16. How does the school let me know the process after application? *** Important: After the deadline of application, we announce the process through notices on the English website.
