Doug has served as Worship Leader in local churches and has been involved with church music, in some capacity, for over twenty-five years. Welcome, Doug! Today Is Last Day to Register for Our Church Retreat Register today for our Annual Church Retreat at Camp Sumatanga scheduled for May 2nd-4th! We're excited to have Tony Watkins leading our retreat this year, a therapist for United Counseling (the counseling ministry of the North Alabama Conference) who serves in the Huntsville area. Our theme will be Healthy Families, Healthy Relationships. Pricing, more information, and registration forms are available in brochures in the gathering area. For those not attending the retreat, we will have our usual schedule of 8:30 am worship, 9:45 am Sunday school, and 10:45 am worship. Newsletter Deadline Articles for the May 2014 issue of our Glimpses of Grace newsletter are due by the end of the day tomorrow, April 21st. There will be baskets outside the Sanctuary for each student where you can place your items. Any monetary donations can be turned into the drop box outside Adams office. This year we are recognizing 11 graduates, so lets show them our love! Josh Brown Aaron Cecil Allison Dahlberg Joe Hamner Janik Homann Shelby Hurley Lauree Jones Jana Klein Melissa Kowerduck Brittany Robertson Keana Swanner Upcoming Sunday Morning Schedule Change The Worship ReDesign Team met recently and decided that we would move to our new Sunday morning schedule on JUNE 1st! On that Sunday we will begin having our Contemporary Service at 9:00 am, Sunday School at 10:05 am, and the Traditional Service at 11:00 am. We know that fellowship and transition time between services and Sunday School is important, so we are planning for our Contemporary Service to end around 9:50 each week and for Sunday School to end at 10:50. This keeps the Sunday School time at 45 minutes and gives us 10 minutes of transition time in between. We pray that this will be adequate time for folks to move from one element to the next on Sundays. Please join us in prayer as God leads us in this exciting time in the life of Grace UMC!
