May 23, 24, 25, St. Peters Williams Lake Theme: Understanding and shaping liturgy as a doorway into sacramental living. Speaker: The Rev. Canon Janet Campbell, Canon for Liturgy, Episcopal Diocese of Olympia. Program: Under the leadership of our theme speaker and workshop leaders we will explore how liturgy works: how it opens our minds and hearts to Gods presence, and how it shapes us to live in the world as the People of God. In workshops ranging from making art and jewelry and rosaries, to practicing meditation and body prayer, to designing liturgical space and leading worship, to contemplative study, we will practice the art of carrying our liturgical discoveries with us into the world. Youth: Appropriate activities will be provided for all ages. Worship: Our weekend will be anchored in worship, beginning with compline on Friday evening, daily offices on Saturday, and ending with Sunday morning Eucharist. Practicing what we preach, we will experience opportunities to explore different liturgical themes. Meals: All meals included: Friday evening reception, Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch. Registration and opening reception: 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at St. Peters. . Cost: $50 per adult; $30 per student (12-18 yr.); $20 per child (5-11 yr.); $150 Family rate; no charge for infants/ toddlers. Fee includes all meals, program and workshop materials.
