Board Members Approval of Agenda / Approved Minutes:

Added next months meeting date to agenda. Dena moved to approve March agenda. Michelle seconded and approved unanimously. Michelle moved to approve February minutes. Lisa seconded and approved unanimously. In April the Board only will meet on Monday April 21 to approve minutes, agenda and treasurers report since Lisa will be absent for April full DCCAC member meeting on April 24.

Michelle Current Balance is $977.25 February Iowa Children Abuse Prevention Program (ICAPP) GAXs submitted on March 21. o Sexual Abuse Prevention through Crises Intervention & Advocacy (CIAC) Feb = $825.36 o Outreach & Follow Up through Partners in Family Development and ISU Extension Feb = $3283.63 ICAPP reimbursements received through December. Dena moved to approve the Treasurers report. Lisa seconded and approved unanimously.

Open Forum Ashley - First Five. Had 19 referrals in Dallas County through medical clinics Diane - ISU Extension & Outreach Hotlines. They are referring to our agencies in Dallas County Vivian - Care for Self -For those women age 40+ and also has program for elderly this summer Ann April 5 Comm. Sanction Project Dena Connecting Hearts event. Dena will be attending the event at Zion Lutheran. Is focused on children. Stewards of Children Bonnie will be conducting at Perry Resource Center on April Dena will be conducting at ISU Extension Office for child care providers in partnership with Myra Natalie Marlen with Perry Head Start is interested in scheduling Christina with Waukee Head Start is interested in scheduling Mid Year ICAPP grantee reporting. Reviewed report (was sent with March Agenda) Post Office Box. We will be closing. All mail referred to Michelle except for Secretary of State mailing which comes to ISU Extension. 990 Form for non-profits. Deb filled Child Abuse Prevention Month Activities Lisa has pinwheel displays at Adel Library and ISU Extension. Waiting to hear back from Waukee Library. Michelle will check with Dallas Center Library and Vivian with Perry Library. April 1st Dallas County Board of Supervisors Meeting. We will be presenting proclamation and asking about putting up banner on courthouse lawn. Debb has approval from city of Adel to plant pinwheels around the courthouse. Jenny will check about news release in Adel Advisor and with Adel Chamber. Lisa will forward Jenny information. Lisa to check with Discover Adel. Booth at Toddler Fest Debb and Radmila will be staffing Lisa will send pinwheel coloring sheet, 25 ways to be loving parent plus additional resources separately. Prevent Child Abuse Iowa Conference. Bonnie, Ashley, Jenny, Vivian, and Lisa attending - will report back at April meeting Jenny DCAT and CPPC Referral forms for Comm. Based Family Team Meetings (sent with minutes) Discussed DCAT and CPPC setting priorities for FY15. Meeting will be held April 17 in Woodward. Reviewed who were awarded recent DCAT funds. ICAPP RFA process. Deb is leading up and has sent needed forms to subcontractors Review DCCAC funding flow chart. No changes needed (sent with minutes) Generation Wellness Coalition. Everyone welcome to attend next meeting on April 8, at noon and Genesis in Adel. Working towards social change.
