Objetivogeneralydescripcinbsicadelcurso. El objetivo general del curso es contribuir a la formacin de investigadores mediante el entrenamiento en el uso intensivo de mtodos microeconomtricos modernos. En ese sentido, este curso es esencialmente metodolgico y pondr especial nfasis en el diseo de investigacin y el uso de la microeconometra como herramienta para testear hiptesis econmicas de inters ms que en la discusindelaspropiedadestericasdeestimadores.Enesadireccin,losparticipantesdelcursosern entrenados en el uso de mtodos avanzados para la identificacin de efectos causales, aprendern como implementarlos mediante el uso de software especializado como STATA y R, y aprendern como relacionarlosconeldiseodeunainvestigacinespecifica. 4.
