The Goat s legs or trotters are called !aya in "indi.# This is a hot and spicy curried soup rich with gelatin from the bone marrows.
$n this authentic recipe, the trotters are cooked in hot water with aromatic spices and salt for more time, till the trotters have become tender and %uicy.
Try now , the fluffy Appam, Idiappam or chapattis teamed with this hot curry, which is laden with the rich taste of coconut, masalas and onion tomato paste.

.hop onion and tomato to small pieces. Wash and chop coriander leaves. "eat oil in a pressure pan. 6dd ginger garlic paste. 1aut8 for a minute. 6dd chopped onion and fry well. 6dd finely cut tomatoes and cook further. <ow add turmeric pwd, red chilly pwd, garam masala pwd, coriander pwd and salt. 6llow the mi=ture to cook on low flame for 3 minutes. <ow add goat legs and coriander leaves.

Method
To the cooked trotter 'roth add the chilli powder9 dhania powder9 salt and turmeric powder and pressure cook #or 0 minutes. 4o not add any e8tra water.
Then add the seasoning mi8ture or vadagam to heated oil in a separate kadai and pour it into the soupy 'roth. 4o not 'oil the mi8ture. 3eat and serve hot.
