Project Write Up (30 pts.) Must be typed and printed or neatly handwritten; five to six complete, descriptive
sentences per paragraph!

You have three options for this section. You may opt to answer only question # 1, but understand by doing this, the
best you may receive on this project is a C. You may opt to answer questions #1 & #3, but the best grade you may
receive as a result, will be a B. Students that answer each of the questions are eligible to receive an A on this
project.

Students that are striving to get an A on their project, but their egg broke, may still receive an A if they analyze
in their concluding paragraph (with great detail) why their egg broke by relating the concepts of physics to their
design. Students should also include how they would improve their design. Design improvements should include
reasons based on the physics concepts being studied. Extra credit points are only available for students wanting to
achieve an A.
Questions

1. A creative description of your design and an explanation of why your crate is designed that way. What were
you trying to accomplish with that design?
2. An explanation of Newton’s three laws and your design’s motion in relationship to each.
3. A concluding paragraph of how successful was your crate, improvements you would make, and how you
defeated gravity, and Newton’s laws of motion in your creation.
