Introduction

Our e-commerce business started based on the idea of providing expatriates living in Vietnam with adorable fluffy friends from their home countries. Indeed, the high demand for purebred dogs in Vietnam is not sufficiently met due to the difficulty in finding reliable local dog suppliers. In addition, language and cultural differences also make it even more challenging for foreigners who want to buy a new pet. Therefore, we offer our target customers the best solution with reasonable price to make their dog adoption process an enjoyable and pleasant experience. The name DogsA implies that we always provide dogs and supplies at level A. To expand our business, beside the physical store located in Hanoi, we set up the official website to serve a wider range of customers. By visiting our website at http://dogsa.ftu.edu.vn, logging in and add the favorite puppies to the cart, after being confirmed, order will be delivered to customer as soon as possible, based on the information provided by the customer. We can guarantee that customers will be satisfied with their choice due to a wide range of healthy and clean-bred dogs from the biggest trusting supplier partners spreading all over the world. Moreover, customers can treat their dogs with various lovely accessories, toys, mini houses made for dogs and complete care at home service from DogsA. We focus on foreigners in Vietnam who have high income level and looking for a loyal companion of good quality. In procedure of making commercial website - DogsA, which is Dog sales, our group has absorbed significant advantages and disadvantages, which are either incentives or motivations for us to accomplish this website satisfactorily and successfully. Initially, regarding merits, Joomla software supported us significantly in setting, operating and managing the website. This is the first time we have designed and established our own website, with Joomla - a friendly software with available interface, modules and themes, we easily select, illustrate, upload our own pictures, database into website. Our websites advantages are: beautiful and cute interface attract guests; diverse items of types of dogs and dog supplies; easy to search suitable dogs and related equipment; allow guests to log in to add items in their cart; have flexible change of currency; translation system from English to Vietnamese; available weather forecast; allow clients to get newsletter via registered emails Last but not least, we are highly appreciated the support from teachers and tutors in E-learning Department, who are always willing to answer our questions relating to website.

Concerning disadvantages, in procedure of building this website, our group had to face up with: First of all, we were confused whether using Joomla 2.5 or 1.5 because of either its vividness of theme. Finding suitable themes for our topic Dog sale is pretty difficult. However, after modifying and editing the templates as well as the modules, orders and arrangement, the interface of DogsA is deeply beautiful. With a huge volume of information and pictures related to products we sell, it is time consuming to upload them into website. Besides, we also need to translate information, description of products bilingually, which took a lot of time. Eventually, our website remains some disadvantages: inflexible payment method (there is not online payment via website of Dogsa) Regardless of some errors, our website are generally an amazing, awesome and informative website, which satisfies significantly the courses requirements. V. Member assessment All the five members of our group have contributed a lot to the establishment of the website. Each member plays an important and unique role in the whole process.
