A panic disorder is an intense, often mysterious with/without trigger, attack of fear. People with panic disorder have episodes of intense fear where they could feel a very large range of physical symptoms. The fears are always very general but often are of dying, losing control, or going insane.

A person with generalized anxiety disorder is constantly worried. With generalized anxiety disorder there is always a constant underlying feeling of fear; always agitated or anxious about something.

An obsessive-compulsive person always has repeating/irrational thoughts and acts on these urges. These people have thoughts that constantly repeat and they cannot get them out of their train of thought. The compulsive part of the disorder includes where a thought can repeat and repeat until the person is compelled to act on the thought.
