Utilising the textbook bought in second year
Aboriginal studies to become familiar with
the Aboriginal and Torres Strait timeline
Engage in community work with Aboriginals
and Torres Strait Islanders to gather a better
understanding on their values
Inform students within my practicum class
on Reconciliation and discuss ways we can
promote it (In older year levels)
Hopefully engage with students within my
prac school who are Aboriginals or Torres
Strait Islanders
Participate in any Professional development

and discuss ICT safety with students

appropriate websites or I Pad apps they
suggest I utilise in the classroom
Contact Cyber Smart for a video or
resources I could use in my classroom to
promote it (this would be for upper primary)
Attend Professional development seminars
on ICT


After talking to a range of
teachers from different
schools I believe Ill gain
quality information on this
area
The more I implement ICT
in the classroom the more
confident I will become

Ask my mentor teacher for guidance in
Religious Education. Explain I am nervous
about teaching students who may not belief
in Catholic values, and ways I can teach
around this
Discuss this topic with other teachers within
the school
In Winter Semester EDRE 102 (2014)
discuss with Michael Chambers how to
teach Religion effectively. Ask for advice
and ways to approach those who do not
believe
Attend Professional development seminars
throughout school or university where
Religious Education is taught
Reflect on every Religious Education I teach
on prac and how I feel I am improving
