GPS BASED SOLDIER TRACKING AND

HEALTH INDICATION SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION
In todays world enemy warfare is an important factor
in any nations security. The national security mainly depends on
army (ground), navy (sea), air-force (air).
The important and vital role is played by the army
soldiers. There are many concerns regarding the safety of these
soldiers. As soon as any soldier enters the enemy lines it is very
vital for the army base station to know the location as well as the
health status of all its soldiers.
n our pro!ect we have come up with an idea of tracking
the soldier as well as to give the health status of the soldier during
the war, which enables the army personal to plan the war
strategies. Also the soldier can ask for directions to the army base
unit in case he feels that he is lost. "y using the location sent by
the #$% the base station can guide the soldier to safe area.

&ere to find the health status of soldier we are using a body
temp sensor as well as pulse rate sensor. These sensors will
measures the body temperature and the pulse rate of soldier and
will be stored in ,c memory.
Solier !e"lt! inic"tor:
This unit is placed on the soldier. &ere the electrodes are
placed on various parts of soldier. This gives the pulse rate of
the soldier .this data is then amplified using the instrumentation
amplifier. The ,c receives this data and calculates the pulse rate
of the soldier for every )- sec

&ere we are giving . keys as a facility to the soldier where
he can ask . pre determined /uestions to the base camp.
GPS&GSM 'nit
The #$% is used to log the longitude and the latitude of
soldier. This is stored in the ,c memory.
The #%+ unit sends an %+% to the army base camp
containing the health parameters and the location of soldier.

0pon receiving the %+%, the 1" s2w sorts the solders
location based on the #$% co-ordinates also the health status
is displayed. n this way the army officials can keep a track
of all their solders.
