ON THE SPOT COURIER SERVICE UPGRADE

To address the growth of your business and to provide room for continued growth in
the coming years, I have provided the most up-to-date equipment and recommendations. To
accommodate the requested integration, I have offered software that will give you the ability
to grow into a much larger market. Without having to change the software you are already
using, this software can provide all the requested tasks, such as tracking with bar codes, real
time GPS tracking of the drivers, plus integration with your QuickBooks, Office, and the
SQL database software.
All the hardware has the capability of being upgraded easily to accommodate future
growth. The server can be upgraded by adding more hard drives and system memory. The
hardware selected for the drivers give them the ability accepts payments and print labels and
receipts.

ON THE SPOT UPGRADES

The most important part of the upgrade will be the server and software upgrades.
For this upgrade I have selected a very powerful and upgradable Server, PowerEdge
T620, with Intel Xeon E5-2620 2.00GHz, 15M Cache.
This server is capable of upgrading with up to 8, 3.5" Hard Drives. Installed system
memory is 4GB RDIMM, upgradable to 16GB RDIMM for future growth of your business.
I have included a Router/Firewall NETGEAR ProSecure UTM5EW-100NAS that has Gen
3 Application-Layer, Simultaneous Sessions 8000 and the Throughput is < 100Mbps. The
Encryption Standard is DES, 3DES, AES(128,192,256 bit)/SHA-1 MD5. It can also support
VPN with Site-to-Site VPN Tunnels: 5 and Simultaneous SSL VPN Tunnels: 2
The bar code and tracking software is going to be important to the integration with your
home office and the warehouse and drivers. The software I selected is the IntelliTrak
Package Tracking integrated software. Although installing a full-scale warehouse
management system can be a costly investment, you will quickly recognize its value. You
will have real-time visibility into inventory and orders, software joins a Microsoft Access
database on the PC, and a Windows Mobile based handheld computer with an integrated
barcode scanner using imager technology. The software will allow you to scan in packages as
they are received using the existing barcodes, assign packages to the recipient, collect a
signature upon delivery, and generate daily reports.

The recommended driver equipment is the Mobile POS IP54 Rugged Handheld
computer with Mobile Data Terminal, Industrial PDA, MSR, barcode scanner, EMV
Thermal printer, GPS/GPRS. This equipment has all the drivers need together in one
device.

ON THE SPOT WEB SITE
The Web Site we designed will be hosted off-site to assure availability during a power
outage. The web site was designed with your clientele in mind. They will be able to:
request package pickup online via Internet
check the status of packages online via Internet
print mailing labels at their offices
The benefits to management are that most equipment and software will be installed in
the warehouse. The server should be installed with the NAS data back-up and battery back-
up system. These changes could benefit the owner by centralizing operations in one place.
All accounting, productivity and SQL software can be installed on the Server for use by
warehouse staff. The owner will be able to access any part of the system from his home
office by remote to the Server, or the warehouse. He can record package pickups from the
warehouse, schedule delivery/pickup runs. He can access any accounting and billing process.

I recommend these changes because you have the potential for expanding growth. The
equipment and software I have recommended can accommodate that growth. You will be

drivers you hire.
