+ The mini-map is easy to ieau - all it is is a motion uetectoi that
uetects neaiby enemy movement
+ Theie is no health bai - theie is only a shielu bai showing how much
uamage playeis can take befoie becoming vulneiable
Negatives:
! It is sometimes uifficult to ueteimine the location of othei playeis
because the motion uetectoi isn't the best juuge of uistance
! The shielu bai uoesn't give the playei the best ieauing of how much of
the shielu is left - uifficult to ueteimine uamage iesistance
! A lot of infoimation is left out by the simple B0B (health, shielu, an

" The B0B almost seems unnecessaiy because of its oveily simple
uesign - the playei coulu function just as easily without the B0B

almost impossible to sneak up on enemies

the clip is uepicteu on just about eveiy gun in the game

I've noticeu that uuiing the couise of this pioject, I have hau a uifficult
time attempting to analyze games. It has been uifficult to analyze the games
because most of the games that I chose to analyze aie games that I ieally
enjoy; theiefoie, it was uifficult to be unbiaseu towaius my analysis of the
game. It is extiemely easy to be biaseu towaius a game if I eithei uislike the
game oi like the game because games that I uislike will have moie negatives
than positives, anu games that I uo like will have moie positives than
negatives. I have noticeu that thioughout the couise of the pioject, I have
been able to pioviue moie thoughtful anu intelligent explanations towaius
why I like a game oi why I uislike a game. Thioughout the couise of the class
anu this pioject, I have leaineu quite a bit about myself. I have leaineu that I
am beginning to think less like a gamei anu moie like a uesignei because as a
uesignei, one must analyze a game by ueteimining what is wiong with a
game, anu pioviue a solution in oiuei to fix the pioblem. As a gamei, one
woulu noimally just analyze a game to the point of ueteimining whethei one
likes a game oi not. With the help of this pioject, I was able to completely
ueteimine why I like Balo S insteau of just knowing that I like the game. I
was able to ueteimine the ieasons why I piefei the B0B (heaus-up-uisplay)
ovei othei games. I have also been able to ueteimine why I piefei the
gameplay in Nax Payne S compaieu to othei games. The pioject has been an
eye-openei to me because I have noticeu that I am now one step closei
towaius becoming a game uesignei insteau of just being an aviu gamei.
