REG: HOUSE BUILDING ADVANCE TO STAFF OF THE BANK.

This is in continuation to Staff Circular No. 2894 dates 11.06.2013 on the captioned subject.

We are pleased to inform you that keeping in view the larger interest of its employees, the Board of
Directors of the Bank have decided to further relax the eligibility norms for availment of the revised
limits as well as to allow them to avail 2nd Housing Loan under the scheme for another dwelling unit,
as per the following provisions, with immediate effect:

Eligibility Criteria:

The officers/award staff who have completed 1 year of continuous service in the bank or on their
confirmation in the bank, whichever is later shall become eligible for availing House Building
Advance.

Other Relaxations:

1. The employees who have already availed the Housing Loan under the scheme would also be
eligible for enhanced loan for enlargement of existing house or for reconstruction of the house to
the extent of difference of the loan as per their entitlement i.e. revised limit minus the loan already
availed by them even though the previous loan availed by them stands adjusted subject to sufficient
repaying capacity.

2. The promotee employees who have already availed the Housing Loan under the scheme would also
be eligible for enhanced loan for enlargement of existing house or for reconstruction of the house
subject to sufficient repaying capacity as per the following conditions:

a) The employees who have already availed the loan prior to their promotion as per their
entitlement of the previous cadre shall be entitled to the difference of the loan as per their
revised entitlement pertaining to the cadre to which they are promoted minus the loan already
availed by them in the cadre prior to their promotion. For example if an employee had earlier
availed HBA while he/she was in clerical cadre and is subsequently promoted to officers cadre,
he/she will be entitled to the difference of loan as per entitlement in officer cadre minus the
loan already availed while he/she was in clerical cadre.

b) The enhanced loan facility would be available to all employees/officers who have already
availed the loan irrespective of the fact as to whether the previous loan stands adjusted or is
still outstanding but the same should be running regular.

3. At present the employees are entitled to Housing Loan under the Staff Housing Loan Scheme only
once in their service career. However, keeping in view the difficulties being faced by employees in
accommodating their families in a single house or transfer at another place, the employees shall be
allowed to avail 2nd Housing Loan under revised Staff Housing Loan Scheme for another dwelling
unit where the employee has sufficient repaying capacity and remaining service to repay the loan
and he/she fulfills the other eligibility criteria for the proposed facility.

4. . Those employees who have already availed 2nd House Building Advance under the category of
General Public either from our bank or from any other bank/financial institution shall also be
allowed to convert their loan under the revised Housing Loan Scheme for Staff.

5. Further, the quantum of loan prescribed for repair/renovation shall also be allowed to be availed by
the employees over and above the limits prescribed for construction/purchase of House/Flat.

6. The 2nd House Loan under the scheme shall be permitted only for genuine purpose and after
assessing the need based requirement of the employee and merits of the case by the sanctioning
authority. In no case the facility shall be permitted for any speculative purpose.

All other terms and conditions of house building loan scheme for employees shall remain unchanged.

We hope that this gesture of goodwill on the part of management shall go far & inculcate a higher
sense of belongingness in the employees and they will contribute to their fullest for the upliftment of
the institution.
