EXECUTIVE

BRANCH
JOHNNY RICHARD
President & Vice President
Basics
The president is only allowed to serve 2 term with the
maximum of 10 years which is 4 years each. During
those two terms the president receives 400k a year and
50k non taxable expense.
During the Presidents terms he gets to live in the White
House. He has access to 123 rooms, Air Force One,
planes, a swimming pool, bowling alley, private movie
theater and tennis courts. Other benefits include
helicopters and limousines.

In order to president you must be a natural born citizen of
the USA and at least 35 years old. You have be a
resident of the United States for 14 years. Most our
presidents are from a middle class background, an ivy
league graduate and are financially successful.

If the president resigns or dies and it
gives direction about which person
will take over the duties of the office
of the president.
Presidential Powers
The vice presidents role in modern government is to do
what is assigned of him by the president, supervise over
the Senate and decides if the president is disabled and
acts a president should this happen.

In the original system for electing the president, the
candidate receiving the most electoral votes would
become the president and the candidate receiving the
second highest number of votes would become the vice
president.

The Electoral College System today adapted to the
growth of democracy, the people now have more of a
voice.

The electoral college is made up of red states and blue
states. Red states are states republican and blue states
are states democratic. If a candidate gets 270 electoral
votes they win the presidency.

Since people believe the electoral college system is
unfair a the winner-take-all system came up which
makes it possible for a candidate who loses the popular
vote to win the electoral vote.

Many people suggest that the electoral college system
should change and that the presidential candidate
should win the same share of a states electoral vote as
they received of the states popular vote.
