So tell us what your new album is

about?
Its about new beginnings, and start-
ing over as everyone deserves a sec-
ond chance. I didnt want to write
music about love or heartbreak as I
feel its over-done I wanted to go in a
new directon with my music and ex-
plore more variety when it comes to
lyrics and overall theme. I feel like the
album expresses my emotons without
being clich or generic
I hear this is your frst Ep so are you
excited to release it?
in all honesty im rather nervous
about the reactons im going to get as
I feel likes its unique and diferent to
other stuf out there. My mum thinks
its great though haha if that counts.
Im just happy to get my name out
there. I think this is a good chance to
show myself for the frst tme and see
if I can gather a fan base it will give
me a good idea whether I want to go
on and release further albums in the
future.
What made you want to produce mu-
sic in the frst place?
I have always been a performer since I
was a litle kid, I always put on shows
for my friends or family and love to
entertain. I sure dont mind being in
the spotlight. From a young age I have
learnt that what people think isnt ev-
erything you should always put your-
self out there because you will always
regret the opportunity if you dont.
Who have been your music inspira-
tons over the years?
I grew up listening to classic rock such
as nirvana and the Rolling Stones I
have my dad to thank for that. We
have always had similar interest in
music and style and he has always
encouraged me to pursue my dream
of being musician. He brought me my
frst guitar at the age of 7 and havent
stopped playing since. My taste now
has varied and I use infuences such as
Blink-182 and Red Hot Chilli peppers
but also enjoy more acoustc based
bandsartsts such as kodaline and
peace.
You say your music taste is varied
what would you consider your favou-
rite genre?
I would consider my favourite genre to
be pop punk as most of the bands I lis-
ten to ft this category. I love the pop
punk roots that bands such as blink
have but when it comes down to pure
pop punk I always turn to the likes of
Neck deep, The story so far, and base-
ment for some enjoyable listening. I
love the atmosphere of the pop punk
scene and regularly atend gigs in Lon-
don. I hope some day to follow in their
footsteps and tour as I have always en-
joyed that aspect of music. I also love
meetng new people so intmate gigs
would appeal to me as I really like get-
tng to know my audience/fanbase.
So we know a lot about your music
taste but we know litle about you, tell
us are you seeing anyone at the mo-
ment?
Exclusive with Celia Tinson
I am. My boyfriend Tom is in a pop
punk band based in the centre of
London. We get on so well because
we share similar music taste, he fully
supports me with my music so its
nice to know I already have a num-
ber one fan.
Have you ever thought of doing a
collab with him?
I have defantly considered it, I feel
like in the future it could be a possi-
bility we ofen duet with each other
we both play guitar and piano so we
gel together musically too!
So theres a possible collab with tom
( your boyfriend) but is there anyone
else you wish to collab with in fu-
ture?
I have always loved Hayley Williams
since I was young she has always
been an inspiraton to me as there
arent many female only singer
bands around anymore, she has
such a unique talented voice I would
love to work with her on something
more acoustc or stripped down as
I feel like her voice should be heard
pure. Another person I would love
to collaborate with would be lower
than atlants as I feel that they have
a true talent at song writng. I feel
like working with Mike Duce ( Lead
singer of the band) would help
develop my lyrics and refect pop
punk/rock into more acoustc based
song.
Thanks for that celia we hope to
hear from you soon good luck with
the ep
Thanks jess it was a pleasure meet-
ing you
