Good morning honourable judges, teachers and friends. The title of my story is The gingerbread man. It is a story about a little Gingerbread Man who leaps out of the oven and runs away from the woman who baked him, boasting that he will never be caught! Until he runs into a clever fox, with a sweet tooth. Once upon a time, a woman made some gingerbread and she had some little dough left. So, she moulded the dough into the shape of a little man. She made two eyes for him, a nose and a smiling mouth from little raisins. She put a few chocolate beans in front of his chest to make little buttons. Then she placed the dough into the oven to bake. Suddenly, she heard a sound, something was happening inside the oven. The woman came closer to the oven and open the oven door very carefully. Out popped a little gingerbread man she had made! How was this possible?! The dough has turned into a man! He jumped to the ground and started to run. The old woman tried to catch him but the gingerbread man was so ~~~~clever and ran very fast. He shouted out: Run, Run, as fast as you can, you cannot catch me, I am the gingerbread man. The old woman chased after him into the garden. An old man was digging the ground. The old man put aside his work and chased after him too. The gingerbread man ran past him, laughing and shouting: Run, run, as fast as you can, you cannot catch me, I am the gingerbread man! The gingerbread man ran as fast as he could. Then, he passed an old cow, the cow called out: MOO! Stop! Gingerbread man. You look delicious, I want to eat you. The gingerbread man just keep running and laughing to the cow. I ran away from the old woman, and ran away from her husband, and I can run away from you! Hahaha~ Run, run , as fast as u can, u cannot catch me, Im the gingerbead man. So all of them joined in the chase. Suddenly, the gingerbread man met a fox, who was very evil. He called out the fox as he sped on his way. Run, run , as fast as you can, you cannot catch me, I am the gingerbread man! The fox was evil and he smiled as he said: why should I bother to catch you. Although he actually meant Oh yes, what a treat, the gingerbread man would be good to eat. yummy So after the gingerbread had ran past the fox, he came to a flowing river. The gingerbread man cannot swim oh oh.. The fox looked and he saw a lot of people chasing the gingerbread man. Well.. well well , as he whispered to the gingerbread mans ear. Would u like to jump on my back? And I will take u across the river. The gingerbread man said okay! And he jumped on the sly foxs back and fox begin to swim across the river. As they reached in the middle of the river, the fox said, can you to stand on my head? The ginger bread man climbed up to the foxs head. Then the fox said.. Ohhh.. stand on my nose, so I can carry u more safely. The gingerbread man slipped down the foxes nose. Suddenly, the fox opened his mouth and snap!! The poor gingerbread man fell into the foxs mouth and the fox ate him. The lesson of the story is we should not be proud and boastful in our life. With this, we come to the end of the story. Thank you.
