Procedures
1. Grab one part piece labeled B, and the 4 pieces labeled A.
Conceptual Understanding:
The following parts position will be described using terms: Concave. This is a brief explanation
on the meaning of these terms.
Concave Up Concave Down
2. The 4 pieces should be concave up (see figure 2) when placed horizontally on the floor,
similar to ladder steps. You will notice one piece will have black Velcro across. That piece
should be second to the top of this four step ladder.
3. Take piece B and place it vertically to one side of A. Ensure that the finished part is top, and
the part with a hole is on the bottom.
4. Insert each piece of A into the hole of piece B. Ensure that the A with Velcro across is still
second to the top.
5. Take the last piece B and insert it on the other end of A.
6. Looking at the current assembly, you should notice that both sides of B should be in similar
positioning. That the finished ends of B are both on top, and the end with holes are at the
bottom. Pieces A will concave up, with the Velcro piece second to the top.
See Figure 4 for the following
instructions.
4a. Place newly assembled pieces A
and B on the floor.
4b. With one hand remaining on piece
A insert part DD into one of the
four holes.
4c. Tighten part DD with Allen
Wrench. Ensure bolt is snug, but not
over tightened.
4d. Repeat this process for the
remaining three holes on the
assembled A and B pieces.

5c. Tighten part DD with an Allen Wrench. Ensure bolt is snug, but not over tightened.
5d. Repeat this process for the remaining three holes on the chair back.
See Figure 6 for the following
instructions.
6a. Place piece E on a flat surface.
6b.Insert both of the pieces in the
concave position through the
cloth hole in piece E. Ensure
when inserting both pieces that
the curved portion is inserted as
shown in the Figure 6.

P a g e | 5
See Figure 7 for the following
instructions.
7a. Place piece E on a flat surface.
7b.Insert part GG into the hole labelled 1
on the figure 7.

Ensure bolt is snug, but not over
tightened.
7d. Repeat this process for the remaining
three holes continuing with the hole
labelled 2, then 3, and then 4.
See Figure 8 for the following
instructions.
8a. Place both the chair back and seat on
their side with the right side resting
on the floor.
8b. With one hand firmly holding
together the chair back and seat,
insert part GG.

remaining hole.
See Figure 9 for the following instructions.
9a. Place the newly assembled chair back and seat with the
right side of the chair on the floor.
