Regarding the latest polling regarding the 14 mid-terms:

In even a neutral political environment, the 2014 midterms were going to be a challenge
for Senate Democrats. They are defending 21 seats to the GOP's 15, with only
two of the Republican seats at any kind of risk of flipping to the Democrats.
Moreover, Democrats were defending many freshman Senators who first won
office in Republican states in Obama's wave election in 2008.

GOP Poised to Control More State Legislatures: Four years after Republicans grabbed
their largest number of legislative seats since the Great Depression, the party is
positioned to gain House and Senate majorities in more states, putting energy
regulation, social issues and taxes in play ... Control of five state Senates would
swing to the GOP with a gain of no more than three seats, and the party is
targeting four additional state legislative chamber ... The party already has full
legislative control in 26 of the 50 states and holds 29 governorships heading into
2014 elections. ...[Target states include:] Colorado...the Nevada Senate...Iowa
Senate...Oregon...and Maine."
SMILE FOR GOP ON BOTH '14 and '16 -- Poll shows biggest advantage for Republicans in
2 decades: "A nationwide USA TODAY/Pew Research Center Poll shows the
strongest tilt to Republican candidates at this point in a midterm year in at least
two decades, including before partisan 'waves' in 1994 and 2010 ... By more
than 2-1, 65%-30%, Americans say they want the president elected in 2016 to
pursue different policies and programs than the Obama administration, rather
than similar ones. In the 2014 elections, registered voters are inclined to
support the Republican candidate over the Democrat in their congressional
district by 47%-43%."
A new ABC News/Washington Post poll triggered Politico to assert that the results give
Democrats four major reasons to worry about their election prospects in 2014.
1. GOP voters are more driven to vote in 2014 than Democrats.
When the poll asked voters who said they were certain to vote
which party they favored, the GOP got 49% of respondents, the
Democrats 44%. Among independents who said they were
certain to vote, 55% said they would vote for the GOP, while
32% said they would vote for a Democrat. When asked whether
they would favor the GOP controlling Congress to block Barack
Obamas policies or a Democrat-controlled Congress to let
Obama have his way, 53% wanted a GOP Congress and 39%
wanted a Democrat Congress.
2. Americans do not believe the economy is improving. 36% of
respondents said the economy is deteriorating, while 28% said
it was improving. 35% of voters said there was no change. Of
the combined 71% of those asserting that the economy is
declining and those who believe it is unchanging, 62% want the
GOP to control Congress. Only 22% of independents think the
economy is doing well.
3. Barack Obamas presence is unhelpful. The Post wrote: At this
point, Obamas approval rating looks only slightly better than
that of President George W. Bush in the spring of 2006. The
poll found Obamas approval rating at the lowest of his
presidency:41%. Broken down further, Obamas approval
ratings on issues stand like this: the economy; 42%; getting
Obamacare to work: 37%; handling the volatile Ukraine
situation: 34%. Only 74% of Democrats approve of him.
4. Americans dont feel ObamaCare is helping them. At the
beginning of April, 49% of respondents supported Obamacare,
with 48% opposed. But now 44% support it and 48% are against
it. Only 8% of registered voters believe their own health care
costs are declining with the advent of ObamaCare; 47% think
their costs will go up. Only 14% of those responding say their
health care has improved because of ObamaCare, while only
16% think the nations health care is better from implementing
Obamacare.
Republican strategist Karl Rove added his name to the list of critics seeking to unskew a
bunch of New York Times/Kaiser Family Foundation polls which showed Dems in key
Senate races running either neck-and-neck or ahead of their Republican competitors.
Rove claimed the poll was "badly done." The polls' findings provoked criticism from The
Weekly Standard's Bill Kristol, among others, who said that the surveys were wrong
because of the findings on a sub-question over Arkansas voters.

I am offering the solution to a problem most Republicans don't know they have -- that

Only five Republican senators voted to confirm Justice Elena Kagan to the Supreme
Court, and three of those senators [Judd Gregg, Richard Lugar and Olympia

November, there is a very real possibility that no one Obama nominates to a
Supreme Court vacancy, no matter what his/her record or qualifications, could
be confirmed to the Court.
Washington Post: Democrats Have 1 Percent Chance of Taking the House
Exclusive: Democrats Could Fail to Survive Primary in Waxman's House District - Under
California's relatively new primary system, all candidates compete in a common
primary, with only the top two finishers proceeding to the general election. In
the recent past, that has allowed Republican candidates and independents to
split the Democratic vote in an otherwise heavily Democratic area. It is possible,
with Carr and Williamson making the most of their early advantages, that no
Democrats would survive the primary in Waxman's 33rd congressional district.

To hype the GOP-Establishment, this puff-piece was issued, via the
Washington Post, which agrees with its message; Bob Dole argues the
GOP Is much More Conservative Than It Was Even 20 Years Ago.
Columnist Chris Cillizza quotes Bob Dole: I thought I was a
conservative, but weve got some in Congress now who are so far right
theyre about to fall out of the Capitol. This call-out quote is intended
to lure readers into swallowing the propaganda that follows. A
supposedly new way to supposedly measure political votes
supposedly proves that Republicans have moved further to the right
than their Democrat counterparts have moved to the ideological left.

Republicans are to blame. Of course. Listen to this claptrap from Cillizza:
The GOP has become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is
ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by
conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and
dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.

Look. Weve got an economy in the crapper, a health care system, once
the envy of the world, in tatters, Russia is openly mocking our President
and invading wherever they want. Anybody want to argue that our
culture is healthier now than 20 years ago?

Trotting out Bob Dole to denigrate conservatives, or coming up with a
new way for political geeks to blame Republicans, isnt going to change
the facts on the ground. In far too many cases, liberals are pretty much
getting what they want. And its killing the country!

Elizabeth Warren was paid for one class that she taught at Harvard U, $350K, yes that is
right thousand, and on behalf of the Democrats/Liberal Party, she is
COMPLAINING about the 1% era, and she is said to be worth "north" of $10
Million. [Per Tom Gerhardt]
16 Takeaways from Elizabeth Warren's New Memoir, 'A Fighting Chance'
Brian Walsh offers a nuclear strike
She includes a section called "Native American," in which she reportedly
writes, "Everyone on our mother's side aunts, uncles, and
grandparents talked openly about their Native American ancestry.
My brothers and I grew up on stories about our grandfather building
one-room schoolhouses and about our grandparents' courtship and
their early lives together in Indian Territory."

This is ironic because, until the Boston Herald first broke the news in
April 2012 that Harvard Law School had repeatedly promoted Warren as
a Native American faculty member, Warren never once mentioned
these stories of her upbringing in a single press interview, speech, class
lecture or testimony at any point, ever, in her decades-long career.
What's more, Warren was not listed as a minority on her transcript from
George Washington University where she began her undergraduate
education, nor did she list herself as a minority when applying to
Rutgers University Law School in 1973.

In fact, it was not until she was in her 30s and focused on climbing the
highly competitive ladder of law school academia that Warren
apparently rediscovered her Native American heritage.

Remarkably, Warren's explanation to the Boston Herald was that she
listed herself as a minority in the hopes that she would be invited to a
luncheon so she could meet "people who are like I am" and she stopped
checking the box when that didn't happen. Perhaps it "didn't happen"
because at no point, at any of the schools she attended or worked at, is
there any evidence that Warren ever joined any Native American
organizations on campus or in any way interacted with anyone in the
Native American community.

Ace, picking through the wreckage:

For Elizabeth Warren to Play Indian when it suited her purposes is
disgustingly self-serving. She is obviously one of two things:
100% White,
or, by her claim, merely 99.2% white.
Either way, she is White, and her parents were White, and her
grandparents were White, and even her great-grandparents were
White. I think you have to go to her great-great-grandparents before
you find the one (1!) nonwhite contributor to her racial legacy.

In no way has Elizabeth Warren ever suffered the sting of racial animus
from White People due her race (which is White), nor have missed out
on job opportunities due to her race (which is White), nor does her
family start out in a Racial Ditch due to discrimination against its race
(which, in case I didn't mention this, is White).

Elizabeth Warren took advantage of racial set-aside employment
opportunities for disadvantaged minorities despite never for one
second in her entire life being disadvantaged by her race (which is
White).

Has she ever been a victim of racism? How would a racist even know to
discriminate against her, unless she busted out her "family lore" and
showed pictures of her grandmother with her "high cheekbones" and
convinced the skeptical racist that she was anything other than a White
Person In Good Standing?

Regarding Voting:
The new head of the U.S. pardon office, Deborah Leff, utilized her former position to
steer money to the controversial Association of Community Organizations for
Reform Now, or ACORN. An extensive review of the grants made by a major
progressive foundation run by Leff also found financing to the Marxist-oriented
Sojourners, an activist group that claims to espouse Christian social justice, and
funding to a group run by radical Van Jones, President Obamas former green
jobs czar. Also financed by Leffs foundation is the Herndon Alliance, a
marketing outfit that was the driving force in branding Obamacare. WND first
reported Herndon recommended a series of phrases, some deceptive, that the
White House and Democrats used to sell the health-care law to the public.
