Upgrade of Component Test Benches for Common Rail Injection Systems

Technical upgrade of an existing injection system test bench with next generation engine management
system components to operate next generations fuel injection systems on a component test bench.

Base Test Bench: Common Rail component test benches
Upgrade Item: Preparation and installation of latest technology engine management system
Work Scope: Planning of work flow, commissioning of parts, preparation of electrical and
hydraulic system, adaptation of test bench automation and final testing
Key Elements:
Understand modern diesel engine control systems with special focus on fuel injection system
Hands on work to upgrade test bench hardware setup (wiring, piping, measuring systems)
Execution of final measurements and data analysis to verify test bench function.

Good knowledge in modern diesel engine technology and test data evaluation strategies. Because our
in house language is English, enhanced English skills are necessary. In addition, it is mandatory to do
the entire technical documentation in English language.

Start: within 2012 Duration: 5 - 6 months
