A is for Alberta, a province in the Mountain zone.

Alberta has 3 bordering neighbors. Alberta has a lot of


prairies.







B is for Blue Jays, Torontos baseball team. Toronto has
won 3 MLB Titles. They play at Rogers Centre.






C is for Coastal Mountain Range, these mountains run
through Canada and the U.S.A. The mountain is separated
into three subdivisions. The three subdivisions are the
Pacific Ranges., the Kitimat Ranges, and the Boundary
Ranges.







D is for Dinosaur, bones of dinosaurs have been found in
Prince Edward. The bones were found in 1845. They
found the jaw and skull.







E is for Edmonton Oilers, they are a NHL hockey team.
They play in the Rexall Stadium. The Oilers have won 5
Stanley Cups.







F is for Football, Canada has a has its own football league.
The league is called the CFL. This league was created in
1860.







M is for Mounties, are government guards. They are cops
of Canada. The Mounties were formed in 1920. There
abbreviation is R.C.M.P.







N is for Nova Scotia, is a province in Eastern Canada. The
capitol of Nova Scotia is Halifax. Nova Scotia is located
in Eastern Canada.







P is for Parc Olympic, it is where the Montreal Olympics.
Montreal is located in Quebec. It is now a zoo for
animals.







Quebec Q is for Quebec, is a province in Canada. It is
very cold in during the winter. Qubec is a French
speaking province.







G is for Grizzly bears, are one of the three types of
bears in Canada. They are located in the Rockies. The
bears eat fish from the river.







H is for Hockey, it is the national game of Canada. It is
played with a stick and puck. There are 6 players on each
team






J is for Jeopardy! , Jeopardy is a game show where
contestants are asked questions and they have to answer
in a question form. It is hosted by a Canadian named Alex
Trebek.







V is for Victoria, was the Queen of England. She chose
the name of the capitol, Ottawa. Her reign lasted for 60
years.







K is for Klondike, it is a paddle steamer. The Klondike is
one of the most important transports in Yukon. It is
named after the river Klondike.






L is for Lake Superior, it is one of the Great Lakes. Lake
Superior located near the border of Canada and USA.
There are 5 Great Lakes. The Great Lakes are created
from melting glaciers.








O is for Ottawa, is the capitol of Canada. It is located in
Ontario. Ottawa has a population of 880,000.







R is for Toronto Raptors, they are a basketball team. The
Raptors were founded in 1995.They are part of the
Eastern Conference.







T is for Tadousacc Bay, its located in Quebec. Tadousacc
Bay is where you can do whale watching. Some whales you
can see are minke, humpback, or blue whales.






U is for Uranium, it is one of the most important exports
in Canada. Uranium is a silvery heavy radioactive metallic
element. It is sometimes used by the military for
ammunition.








W is for William Shatner, is a famous actor. He stared as
Captain Kirk in Star Trek. He was born in Quebec.








X is for Camp X, was a WWII camp to train soldiers. It
was established in 1941. The camp was located in Ontario.

S is for Saskatchewan, is a province in Canada. Its capital
is Regina. Saskatchewan borders America.







Y is for Yukon, it is a province in Northwestern Canada.
There once was a gold rush in 1896.The capitol of Yukon
is Whitehorse.








Z is for Zamboni, He was a great hockey player and
figure skater. The Zamboni is named after him.







I is for Inuit, they are the natives of Canada. Most of
the Inuit live in the territory Nunavut. They are
sometimes known as Eskimos
