1. What is your own vision of a classroom of the future?
2. Determine factors that hinders and uplifts the implementation of
technology based classrooms. Factors will be explained in terms of
political climate, personal insights as a Teacher or as a school
administrator and the views of the students.
1. Education is a never ending process. It continues to grow and reinvent
the best for the education. Achieving the best education, it requires
vision of the educators on how the learners acquire adept knowledge,
molded character, and honed skills. Along this vein, my visions of a
classroom in the future are teachers and learners are experts in
manipulating the gadgets that can be used for learning. Meaning to say,
teachers use always the technologies in delivering quality education. Each
classroom has whiteboard, lcd projector, laptop and internet connection
to teach effectively and efficiently the lessons. The discussions of class
could happen in a website made by the teachers. Teachers upload the
activities and lessons/modules in that website. The best with this is
lessons and activities are interesting and motivating because teachers
make sure that lessons and activities are game oriented, learner centered
and constructive approach. On the other hand, what the pupils do is to
log in the website and read the lessons/modules and answer the activities
given. My dream classroom demands that each learner has its own

tablet/laptop. For this, paperless must be followed because activities,
term exams, portfolios are done in the website and books are no longer
used because e-books are advisable. However, my dream classroom
cannot get away from the traditional point of view in teaching. The
teachers use traditional methods in teaching and traditional set-up of
classroom. There are subjects that need traditional method like
demonstration, lecture, reporting and the like. The traditional set-up
classroom is also adopted like tables, classrooms and classroom
structuring. These things are free to dream. It is for the reason education
is a never ending process.
2. The factors to consider that hinder the implementation of technology
based classrooms are political, personal and view of pupils. First, most of
the political leaders are not sincere and honest in their work. They
prioritize their own wealth not the common good of the majority. They
only do projects that can earn more money to them and even do not fully
implement the projects they have created and worst scenario is that the
project has

created but no project has accomplished. Second for personal view, lack
of budget to be given in education. Due to lack of budget, the school

facilities and equipment are not enough to offer quality education. Aside
from that, if there are computer laboratories in the school. It can be
noted that computers are full of dusty. This implies that teachers are not
proficient in using computers and indolence devours teachers to
innovate. It might boil down also the attitude toward technology. Some
might be resistant to technology based. Another factor is that school
administrators dont show support for technology based. Support in a
sense that they should implement and assess technology based in the
classroom like whiteboard and videos presentations. Assessing by
encouraging teachers to use technology based teaching inside the
classroom. It will be a waste if those facilities are not being used. Next
factor is the school administrators show also low proficiency in
technology. It will result then if leaders are not doing good, it might
follow that subordinates will also affect their performance. This scenario
supports the axiom saying you cannot give if you dont have. Lastly, the
government forgets the connotation No Child Left Behind. I could say
that higher ups and private institutions might forget that there are still
learners in the mountainous areas. They forget or need to be reminded to
give computer laboratories and set of tv, speaker, and dvd. Before they
give, they have to facilitate also the installation of electricity in the
community and the school in the farffung areas. Third, poverty is still a
problem to establish technology based in the classroom. As much as they

wanted to have, money matters are a great problem since majority of the
pupils belong to the average and below poverty line.
