SUMMARY

Today it is recognized that work-related stress is one of the main problems for the health of
workers and the proper functioning of the institutions for which they work.
A stressed worker tends to be more sickly, be little motivated, be less productive and have
less job security; In addition, the entity he works usually have worst prospects for success
in a competitive market.
Stress can be caused by domestic or labour problems. In general, employers cannot protect
employees against stress originated outside of work, but yes may protect against stress
resulting from their work activity. Work-related stress can be a real problem for the
institution and its workers. Good management and a proper organization of the work are the
best way to prevent stress. If an employee suffers stress, your boss should be aware of this
and know how to help you.
INTRODUCTION

Work-related stress is and will be the silent disease, which will be on the rise in our society,
mainly by the different types of work that have gone evolving in recent decades, affecting
welfare psychomotor worker that can damage the environment. Currently, by the relevance
of the information in the production processes, they require mental effort tasks that
traditionally required only muscle strength; in addition the pace of work has increased, with
one smaller number of workers they have to achieve best results.
The World Health Organization (OMS) postulated that stress is the set of physiological
reactions that prepares the body for action. Other authors consider it the result of the
relationship between the individual and the environment, assessed by him as threatening,
that goes beyond their resources and endangers your well-being.

This research aims to provide the security; prevention of signs and symptoms with its
grounds to treat and prevent that severely harms the health of the uniformed personnel, for
the proper functioning of the institution. Based on the detected problems it is necessary to
implement programmes for the improvement of the working environment as it helps to

reduce the levels of stress to employees working in the private sector North in the city of
Guayaquil.

"BUSINESS STRESS"

Business stress is a problem closely related to dissatisfaction, anxiety, nervousness, bad
eating habits, economic and family problems, the susceptibility of the individual creating a
counterproductive environment by imposing on hazards psychosocial, physical and mental
wear and tear.
Today the various activities taking place in the workplace in all societies throughout the
world are influencing direct mood of workers and of society in general, due to the current
dynamism in the planet.

SYMPTOMS THAT CAN LEAD TO WORK-RELATED STRESS
Stress is a complex reaction to biological, psychological and social level. Most of the
biological changes that occur in the body when it is subjected to a stress reaction are not
perceptible to the human being and diagnostic procedures are needed to determine the
level of reaction. However, psychologically many symptoms caused by stress can be easily
identified by the person who is suffering from such changes. The reaction most frequently
when we are subjected to a stress reaction is anxiety. The most common symptoms of
anxiety are:
Cognitivo-subjetivo level:
Concern
Fear
Insecurity
Difficult to decide
Fear
Physiological level:
Sweating
Muscle tension
Palpitations
Tachycardia
Motor or observable level:
Avoidance of feared situations
Smoking, eating or drinking in excess
PROPOSAL TO IMPLEMENT
Yoga
Yoga brings balance to our lives, which is the State required for the
physical body and the subtle bodies which identifies the yogic

maximum capacities.

Pilates
The exercises consist in the execution of

machines (Pilates Reformer) or with the help
of mats (Pilates Mat) that cushion, and avoid
direct contact with the ground.

Bailoterapia
The bailoterapia consists of exercise carried the ball, allowing
you to relax, enjoy the music, share, learn, do enough cardio





Performance workshops
The goal of the workshops acting allows the integral
development of the human being, potentializing
their capacities for creative expression and the
solidarity action against its environment.
Specifically, the dramatic expression affects the
improvement of interpersonal relationships, as to
improve the body, oral and gestural skills of
participants and favoring the disinhibition, enables
effective communication and fosters the adaptation in their environment; also giving you
more chances of leadership.

Conclusions

Stress has been growing, disabling, shape with a very powerful personal and social cost. It
is accepted to stress as an interaction between the characteristics of the stimulus and
resources of the individual, because stress occurs as a result of an imbalance between the
demands of the labor, social and cultural environment.
The issues discussed are different sources of information. Finally the issue of stress is very
interesting since it is the hub, we would say of any illness or consequences to any field, so
we will apply the acquired knowledge to avoid stress.

Recommendations
We suggest to future researchers that they pursue the profession of occupational doctor,
must take into account constraints that will have on State institutions.
Private companies and in general, we recommend to pay attention to the emotional and
psychological needs of the employer, promoting work in team, interdepartmental
relationships, train their officers in the control and proper support of your emotions to
consolidate a strong work team, since in the present study we identified occupational stress
which is recommended:
Identify the causal factors that can cause stress, which must be treated and
managed properly.
Organize activities to improve balance time with their respective rest at work.
Practice relaxation techniques.
Sports and having hobbies.
Clearly define the roles and responsibilities of each worker.
