1)OpenthesystemchassisandlocateanunusedPCIE(2.0or1.0)8
orx16slot.
2)RemovethePCIslotcover.
3)GentlyinserttheRocket272xcardintothePCIEslot,andsecure
thebrackettothesystemchassis.
4)Afterinstallingtheadapter,attachtheharddisksordiskenclosure
totheRocket272xcardusingtheSATAorSAScables.
5)Closeandsecurethesystemchassis.


UsingtheRocket272xBIOS
AfterinstallingtheRocket272xhostadapter,andpoweringonthe
system,theRocket272xBIOSshouldpost.

TheBIOSwillscanfordevicesanddisplayinformationabouteachdisk.
Note:Scantimemayvarydependingonthedisksmake/modeland
diskrelatedfeaturessuchasStaggeredDriveSpinup.

Whenprompted,pressCtrl+MtoaccesstheRocket272xBIOS
Setupmenu.


TheBIOSSetupmenuwilldisplayinformationabouttheRocket272x
andhosteddevices.

AfterinstallingtheRocket272xhostadapter,boottothe
Windowsoperatingsystem.

Windowsshouldautomaticallydetectthecard,anddisplaysthe
FoundNewHardwareWizard.SelectLocateandinstalldriver
software.WhenWindowsasks:Windowsneedsyour
permissiontocontinue,selectContinue.

WhenaskedtosearchonlineselectDontSearchOnline.

4.

SelectIdonthavedisc,showmeotheroptions.

5.

SelectBrowsemycomputerfordriversoftware.

6.

BrowsetothelocationofthedriverandclickNext.

ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClass
Bdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesigned
toprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidential
installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency
