Ilene Sterns Artist / photographer
I am exhibiting Holga film photographs of Bath along
with favourite shots from years past. For me, Holga
images are like dreams or visions places where reality
is suspended and the imagination takes over. My work
has won prizes in a number of competitions including
The International Garden Photographer of the Year.

Clare Day Ceramics and prints
I make works in clay and in bronze. To see examples
of commissioned works in bronze in a public space
visit www.crestnicholsonarts.co.uk/gallery/clare-day.
I also make prints using a block of clay to print from.

inherent qualities of the clay. I have exhibited widely
in the UK and now work with children and run
workshops to support peoples own creativity. Visitors

Val Hepplewhite Paintings and drawings
Music and industry have always had a strong influence
on my work. I worked as a teacher and freelance

from the love of the figure, structure and fabric,
working in a variety of media including oil, watercolour,
pastel and charcoal. Love of fabric has culminated in
new work of brightly coloured paintings on silk, chiffon
and velvet.

Richard Olver Paintings
My pictures celebrate the beauty of the natural and man
-made world. Abstract expression and the freedom from
from constraints of literal representation offer opportunities
to explore texture and interactions of colour and form.
My paintings aim to lift the spirit and promote a sense
of harmony in a discordant world.

Lucy Owen Paintings
I start by making spontaneous gestures and the ideas
gradually emerge from the mark-making process.
Although I have no preconceptions about the end piece
there is a common theme atmospheres of time and
place. Associations and connections are formed
without conscious intention.
