Oracle Advanced Pricing provides a logical, flexible setup framework to handle complex

pricing scenarios. It enables to break price creation into simple elements: define pricing
rules, assign rules to create specific pricing actions, and designate pricing controls.
Oracle Advanced Pricing also supports tailored pricing with built-in extensibilit
features.
Oracle Advance Pricing is part of Oracle Order !anagement, and integrates seamlessl
with other Order !anagement applications, including "onfigurator and Order
!anagement.

Pricing .ualifiers controls, who is eligible for certain prices %price lists* and benefits.

coupons, item and term substitutions, and other item discounts. 1iscount and surcharges
modifiers affect the selling price2 freight charge modifiers do not affect the selling price.
&ow first .ualifier needs to be defined and at time of defining modifier this .ualifier
needs to be attached to the modifier. /ualifier .ualifies the pricing re.uest and modifier
modifies that.

As this .ualifier is newl defined we need to run one concurrent re.uest 3Build
Attribute Mapping Rules4. -his re.uest needs to be run on defining new .ualifier, it is
alwas recommended to run the same after doing change in the .ualifier.

at line level. :ven though it is for all the lines there is a difference in giving '+, discount

will be given to charges also along with items. Also provide all other values relevant to
the re.uirement as shown.

Onl related to customer present on the order, no specific price list is mentioned. <ence
Oracle will calculate the discount for customer $igmart depending on the modifier,
irrespective of price list selected.
Bou can delete promotions applied to lines even after order is booked.
<ere in this article I added onl one condition of "ustomer &ame, like wise ou can add
one more condition of "ustomer $ill to location in /ualifier window. 1iscount can be
handled in at !odifier level.

Csusall modifier gets applied at the time of saving order line, it does not wait till the
time ou book the order.
As I understand ou have two modifiers but ou want price list to consider onl one
modifier. Bou must be having some additional conditionDs %sa countrDpart
categorDorder .uantit* based on which ou want to select one modifier in one scenario
and other modifier in another scenario , 6o in this case ou can add that conditionDs in
.ualifier and attach that .ualifier to the corresponding modifier

Hegarding printing listed price and discount on invoice... its matter of designing a report,
ou can alwas pull price from price list and then compare it with order price, ou will
get discount, and now ou need to show them on invoice report.
