Introduction
Sports Law has become an established field of legal scholarship and
practice.

On this basis the Sports Law and Policy Centre (SLPC) organizes the
Executie Programme in Sports Law and !ustice in order to proide an
in"depth anal#sis of the latest deelopment in such a fascinating and
complex field.

$he Programme in %nternational Sports Law is designed for &ualified
law#ers and for those who alread# wor' for Sports (ssociations)
Leagues and Clubs.

%n this perspectie the lecturers will examine the current legal
proisions as adopted b# the Sports (ssociations as well as the latest
case law deliered b# the highest sports arbitration bodies and
international ordinar# tribunals.

$he Executie Programme in %nternational Sports Law and !ustice
offers an intensie stud# period on law as applied to sport.

6e is professor and co"director of the /aster on Sports Law of the Law 0acult# of the
<niersit# of 4alencia.) as well as partner and head of the Sports Law 2epartment of
the law firm .uiz 6uerta = Crespo. 6e is arbitrator of the 4alencia Chamber of
Commerce as well as in proceedings at the %CC of Paris. 6e is the president of the
Sports Law Section of the 4alencia -ar) spea'er in seminars and masters of sport
law. 6e is professor of %nternational Contracts.
Mario !allavotti
/ario >allaotti specialises in /edia and Sport law and within the Sport Law he
matured a large professional experience practising before all the Sport Courts and
(rbitration Panels) both domestic and international) mainl# dealing with professional
football.
6e sered as 2irector of an %talian professional club of Serie ( and he also sered as
a member part of the Chamber of (rbitration of %talian 0ootball League) and
represented the %talian Professional League in seeral technical panels) both
domestic and international.
%n 7889 he was part of the 0%0(5<E0( tas' force who negotiated and drafted with
European Commission the 0%0( .egulations on the Status and $ransfer of Pla#ers
and since then he has been a member of the0%0( 2ispute .esolution Chamber as
Club3s representatie.
