Get often means receive. Get has many
meanings including buy or become.
For example:

I get calls on my cell phone.

Prepositions are often used to describe the position of one thing
in relation to another. Prepositions are also used to show when
something happens.
Place Prepositions
At is used to indicate a specifc point of location.
For example:
Sara is at the cofee shop.
Bill is at work.
On indicates the surface upon which an object rests.
For example:
The book is on the table.
The calendar is on the wall.
The ring is on her fnger.
In indicates that an object lies within a specifc area.
For example:
The bookstore is in the mall.
From indicates a place of origin.
For example:
Emily is coming from the airport.
Time Prepositions
At is used to indicate a specifc point in time.
For example:
Go to the park at three oclock.
On is used to indicate a specifc day or date.
For example:
The new restaurant opens on May 10th.
In is used to describe an event that takes place within
a certain period of time.
For example:
School begins in September.
For is used to defne duration or length of time.
For example:
School is closed for one week.
