AWESOME COVERS!
AWESOME COVERS!
This issue's Awesome Cover is from Brenda Perlin's Home Wrecker Chronicles 1. Brenda, hank !ou for
"oinin# us here on he All Auhors $a#a%ine. We love !our &ook cover' Please ell us a lile &i a&ou i.
Where did he ins(iraion for he cover come from?
I wanted the cover to convey danger but at the same time vulnerability. I like covers that pop when you see them.
)o !ou feel ha i reflecs he sor! well*
I do think the cover fits Home Wrecker very well. I got lucky because I didnt put that much thought into it.
+iven he choice, would !ou chan#e an!hin# a&ou i*
Funny enough, I wouldnt change a thing which is very unusual for me. I am a fussy bug. I am never quite satisfied but this
cover feels perfect for the story. ometimes I question my title choice but never this cover!
Was his he ori#inal cover o his &ook, or was here one (rior ,like a firs ediion or firs draf-*
"ctually Home Wrecker originally had a different cover. I had a different publisher #who were beyond terrible$ and did a
half%fast &ob. I thought they would come up with something artsy but they did not seem to care. 'hey did a quick retouch in
photo shop and that was it. " photo of me was on the original cover. It wasnt meant to be a vanity thing I &ust thought the
girl in the image looked like a Home Wrecker but there was still something sweet about her. he could be the girl ne(t door.
.- )oes his cover reflec !our arisic (reference*
'his cover does do that because I think it is simple, creative, attractive and eye catching.

*ra"itional .ublishing is !ast becoming a thing o! the .ast. 0o
longer are authors stuc7 in a conun"rum o! getting their !oot
in the "oor o! the in"ustr- or calling it ;uits. Authors ha+e
more o.tions a+ailable to them than e+er be!ore. In !act# the

$hen constructing the actual ;uer- letter# remember to
