1. Explain the importance of the internet and multimedia resources in schools, and the use of new
technological developments in labs. Give examples. Write about 200-250.

2. Advances in technology are wonderful. But what happens when the power goes down? Imagine your
town without electricity for a whole day. Write an email to a friend telling him/her what it was like.

3. Life in the future is not always portrayed as attractive and pleasant. There are problems connected
with technologies, which scare the boldest and predict terrible consequences in the future. Comment

4. Comment on this statement: Every time there is a technological breakthrough, we are faced with a
new threat to our survival. Technology may have its advantages, but these are outweighed by its

5. Cybertowns are filled with illusions of truth... any old truth someone wants to create can be
